Good product, however knocked off a star as there was no protective film

As expected..good quality maybelline mascara that gives good coverage and long lasting.

This mascara gets a lot of positive reviews with many self-acclaimed beauty gurus posting swatches online and swearing by this product as some 'Better Than Sex' dupe (I suppose)... However I don't think this mascara is that great.The mascara arrived without a seal, any outer packaging or anything, therefore I suspect that this may have been a product already used or returned. This is confirmed by the fact I've actually been having some eye issues since using this product, having to use strong eye drops to help. I suffer from dry eye syndrome and allergies, so do have sensitive eyes. But most mascaras don't trigger any of the symptoms related to the above. I fear the wand was either used on someone with an eye infection, or maybe it's past its expiry date... It's also really difficult to remove even with eye makeup remover. It will take a good 1-2 days to thoroughly come off lashes.In addition, I naturally have longish lashes with a decent amount of volume. I like the spider lash effect but this mascara barely adds any length to existing lashes. I've been using Maybelline's 'The Colossal Big Shot Waterproof' mascara for years, and much prefer its finish.Overall, I do not recommend :/

Absolutely fantastic mascara! No smudging, no clumping and coated even very fine short lashes brilliantly. Will definitely be ordering again.

Perfect perfect perfect. I’d give it more stars if I could. You don’t think it’s that great until you try a different one and realise how rubbish your lashes can actually look. Would be even more amazing if it wasn’t an actual pain to remove 😅

The product has lasted me for 3 months and I'm quite happy with it. Good level of waterproof, a bit sticky but it lasts the whole day.
