Maximo Fitness Yoga Mat and Bag, Blue

Update after 3 months of use:I'm still happy with this mat but for certain warmup exercises (star jumps, up/downs etc) where bare feet might pound the mat quite hard - esp under my weight ;) - the foam has started to wear away and bits are coming off. For lower impact exercises it's fine and to be fair they sell it as a yoga mat so it's probably not designed to take a pounding. I still think this is a great mat and would buy again.Initial review:Great mat for the price. The marking on mine was minimal - just indentations where the carry bag has been wrapped up inside the mat. Any marks pretty much disappeared once it was opened up.The mat is really grippy, I had very little movement on a wood floor. Nice thickness as well, not so thick that it feels like a camping mat but enough cushioning for doing core conditioning exercises and stretching. Rolls up nice and compact too.

I recently damaged, for a second time, my knee running do have decided to workout in the house instead. This may is very similar to my previous may, pretty sure it's made of the same material. It's very comfortable for working out, not too thick that it affects your balance but thick enough at the same time to absorb impact during cardio.Not much else to say really, "does what it says it says on the tin" basically. If you buy it make sure you don't wear shoes on it, if it is the same as my last they'll tear it shreds and also wear socks, the sweatier you get the more your feet will stick to the thing, I tend to weigh down each end with a set of dumbbells to stop it moving too much

What a great mat. Well made, fast delivery, nice and long.It is a bit thin, this is my only complaint. If you are using this at home on a carpet then it possibly won’t affect you but if you use it on laminate flooring for example then you might want some underlay or something between you.That being said I really like it

What-a-bargain! Absolutely beautiful memory yoga mat, with very little defect you cannot even see because it is on the reverse side. I am happy I went for the risk, because now I have high quality yoga mat with a pouch for it for a very reasonable price! And the blue one has a very beautiful colour.

I love this mat..I work out at home..yoga..resistance training ..and this mat stays down and doesn't move..so Iam able to execute quality poses without the worry of the mat slipping! Just the job! Very happy!

Bought to use for yoga, lovely thickness that cushions but you don’t wobble when using it. Some reviews said it was slippery, actually to the contrary I found it to provide good grip esp when doing downward dog and warrior one. My instructor has cmented what a nice colour it is (I got the blue one) bag is handy to have too. Overall very pleased with it and cannot any faults

Great mat and long enough to lie on comfortably. Very grippy but soft at the same time, best yoga mat I've used so far!

I did ONE class using my new mat and within minutes was literally falling apart under my feet. There were blue bits of rubber all over the floor and even the teacher commented on how badly it was disintegrating! Absolutely unusable after and I returned it the very next day. Definitely not suitable for yoga or pilates! Or anything for that matter.....
