Murad Time Release Blemish Cleanser 200 ml

The best! This has taken me from full blown adult acne to the odd blemish here and there. Completely transformed my skin! Started off slow, but now I use it everyday (onto my third bottle). Leaves the skin a little dry, so use a good moisturiser. However, this is much kinder to the skin than the ordinary one, which I found quite harsh.

This is the only cleanser that I can use knowing that it will keep my acne in check. I suffer quite badly from hormonal breakouts and this is the best cleanser I've found. It doesn't dry out your skin at all but the salycillic acid in the formula helps to clear excess sebum which causes breakouts. Couldn't live without it

I have been using this product since around Christmas (when I finally convinced myself that spending a little bit more on my skincare might actually be worth it) so now I have a pretty solid idea about how this product works. First of all, you get a huge, 200ml bottle which will last you forever. You don't need much (maybe the size of a pea) and it will cover your whole face and neck easily. The product is really easy to work with, it feels like a cream. Even though I did skip a few days (maybe 10-15 altogether) since December, I still have more than 80% of the product left. I usually use it once a day only, when I shower. I think you can get great results if you use it consistently. When I use it every day my blemishes always go back to the hellhole they came from, BUT as soon as I stop everything goes back to "normal". For example I stopped using it for 3 or 4 days because I was testing out some other cleansers and bam - I received 2 horrible, huge, painful cystic beasts on both cheeks. Yay. I used it today again and those monsters have already gone down and aren't as bad anymore. So that's that. I would definitely recommend this product.

This stuff is amazing, been using it for a few weeks and not only have all my spots cleared up but i think ive only had one tiny one since! Using it twice a day as recommended, and it doesnt dry your skin out. highly recommend this

Been using this twice a day for two weeks and my skin has really cleared up. I don’t suffer much from break outs only when it comes to time of the month. Would definitely be buying again and it’s worth the money.

First impressions: tube is very large and has a professional presentation but in my opinion looks a lot like a prescription at first glance. The product is somewhat thick but has that sort of grey translucent look of a serum. The smell is not at all pleasant and actually does smell like a chemical prescription ointment, a sharp unpleasant alcohol type scent that reminds me of the smell of prescription hair removal cream. I'm guessing whatever ingredient is responsible got helping keep spots and blemishes at bay is responsible for the scent. Have used it twice do far, the stuff doesn't foam much but spears evenly on a wet face, it didn't sting or feel uncomfortable, but I do note after using my face felt a bit dry, which normally it doesn't after using my Garnier face washes. My face also does feel slightly tighter but that could just be a reaction so will be keeping an eye on it. If it makes any difference to the small skin bumps that keep coming up under my skin (not quite acne or spots but just a sort of bumpiness that shows up in certain light) I'll be happy but at current pricing I would never be able to afford it for frequent use once it runs out. I will update if any changes or breakouts occur as a result of use. Edit: about four hours after using it, I noticed my mouth was starting to break out in red blotches and my cheeks were starting to feel a bit hot - around my lips is starting to get slightly itchy now too, which isn't normally the case after I use most cleansers. As I went to put on my night cream (Nivea Q10 Anti-wrinkle) ten minutes ago I noticed my face was suddenly on fire the minute the night cream went on - normally this doesn't happen. The stinging wore off but usually I don't experience this and I'm worried that I may wake up with a break out in the morning. I don't think this Murad Time Release Blemish Cleanser is really intended for sensitive skin. If I'm broken out by tomorrow morning, I definitely won't be using it again. Judging by the strong alcoholic chemical scent, I'd wager the ingredients are fairly harsh which is why I'm feeling it. Here's hoping I don't look like Mickey Rourke in the morning. edit: after a few tries, each time I began to break out more than more so clearly the product doesn't really work with my sensitive skin. It may be great for others but for me, it doesn't work well. I will go back to my Garnier which doesn't act so harshly on my face. It was nice to try the product all the same, as I don't normally get the chance to try expensive products.

This product is great for skin that occasionally has blemishes when you're out of your teens! It keeps my skin supple and doesn't over dry it, whilst making sure I don't get spots! I very rarely buy a product twice and I'm on my 7th tube of this! It lasts AGES too!

Finally an acne face wash that seems to be working. I have spent so much money trying to clear up my acne. I really hope I continue to see improvements. I would like to buy more of the range but I need to save up first. Thanks Murad
