Auf Wiedersehen Pet: The Special [DVD] [2004]

Another adventure with our world travelling Brickies. This time they end up in Thailand, snatched by Bandits.The story is great and the characters still as engaging.If I have one small gripe, it's that this special does seem rushed. It is good, don't get me wrong. But there could have been more time on certain points. Now maybe It could be that this is the last one and knowing that, I wanted it to go on longer but it still did feel a bit rushed.But never the less, worth the money.Worth the air time.

A wonderful ending to the previous 4 Series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet.The remaining cast members are on top form, the story ranges from humour, excitement , love and sadness but ends perfectly with the three main lads from the North East on a ferry back to Germany !

Ah the boys are back again, this dvd was just to get me into set of the lads , the cowboy builders that tickled us all in the 1980's with their humour and antics while trying to earn a crust and be good britts abroad, of cause it all goes tits up evey episode still makes me smile when i sit and watch it, this has got to be one of all time tv greats that will live on in our live forever, as no matter who what or how old we are and get we all would have at some point wanted to be there working away from home away from good old blighty, knowing we would return home with that pot of gold hahahaha obviously the boys here never got the gold much but the laughter and the one liners make this a good old classic any day,I am a fan of Jimmy nailes songs too, i love to see tim spahl in other sittuations as here he is bumbling barry but he can also be very serious as he was in the Last Samuri alonf side Tom Cruise, Denis Healy he has had a decent career pitty that young holt died of the drug od back then, and look how far bomber went having made some all time greats in his time playing villians and heros (may he rest in piece) now sadly gone, the lads all bar a couple have followed onto greater things like Kevin Whately famous for lewis the spin of from inspector morse, well don elasd keeping us entertained in all aspects of your careers....

A great DVD purchased as a Christmas present for my Dad who's s big fan of the programme definitely recommend.

I had everyone of those lads on videos and dvds except the two I just recieved now I have them all I suggest everyone buys the whole set

A must for Auf Weidersehen Pet fans. Gives us closure on their various adventures and allows the lads, and us to say cheerio to Bomber. The content is the usual stuff, reminiscent of their Cuban adventure.

For possibly the final tv outing the gang return sadly without bomber.Pat Roach sadly passed away after series 4.Not a bad finale to a tv brand beginning back on ITV in 1983 the last 2 series + this special was made by the BBC.Recommended ☺

recently this series had been on TV and I watched it the first time round in just had to purchase it for sentimental reasons
