I know that sulphates assist with foaming so you shouldn't expect shampoo without them to be too soapy and this isn't, but it leaves a kind of scum on the water (I use it on the kids at bath time too) which is a bit odd as I live in a soft water area where soap scum doesn't happen. It's also quite runny and thin which, when combined with the lack of foaminess, leaves it feeling a bit cheap.As far as effectiveness goes however, it's good.
