Good enough for me
The good: extremely strong, well made, stable if you have them aligned well. And Valhalla sorted out a mislaid delivery/damaged item for me promptly, so top marks for that. The bad: not really a "bad", more just a thing: as other reviewers have noted, these bars are pretty short. I'm 6ft and they come up to a point halfway between my knee and mid thigh when I stand between them. Depending on the angle of your dip, you may find it hard to complete a full movement without your knees hitting the floor.Angled dips are no problem, and it is possible to complete an almost straight dip if you pay attention to what's happening with your legs. But you do need to be very aware of the position of your pelvis and spine as you come to the bottom of the range of motion.I bought these for a specific purpose: to give me a home dip station without having to purchase a power tower. Our house isn't big enough to accommodate one, so I went for a separate chin-up bar and dip bar solution instead. Because of that, I'm happy with what I have. If I had more room to manoeuvre, it would be a tower all the way.

Good height for tall people but horribly wonky
I specifically chose to try these for the height achievable and because they looked like they'd have the most stable feet from the few tall parallel bar options Amazon has.The height on these is great - I'm 6ft2.5 and have about 20cm clearance to the floor when doing dips going down to the level where my shoulders are at or just below elbow height, with legs tucked back. They LOOK solid and of decent quality to the eye, but that's where my happiness with these bars ends. They arrived with some scratches and very small dents in them and they are wonky as hell when put together. I've unscrewed them and put them back together twice and they're still wonky each time I try. One of them has one of the feet a full 0.5cm off the floor from the others, so that one wobbles easily. It takes away your confidence in them when using them. You can get away with this when doing dips or certain things that involve dividing your weight across both bars, but once you get to the point of failure reps and your balance starts going - you lose confidence in the bars because of the amount of wobble in the bars themselves. And doing anything with a single bar - like trying to do practice muscle-ups - means they feel almost unsafe. I'd give one of the bars a 7/10 for stability and the other a 3/10.The fact these had small scratches and dents in them when I received them and they're wonky makes me wonder if someone else has returned them as not fit for purpose and they've just been repackaged and sent out again to the next customer (me).I wouldn't recommend these - look elsewhere for a set of bars that are more sturdy so you can have confidence in them whilst using them. Judging from my experience with these I think most people who are around 6ft2 or 6ft3 can probably get away with a 90cm height set, possibly even a 80cm set depending on how low you want to do your dips and if you want to do practice muscle-ups or are happy with inverted rows and dips instead. I definitely would not pay £75 for these again, they are worth about £40 with the stability issues my set has.

overall, does the job BUT
Echoing the other user reviews, overall this really is a quality piece of kit. Pros:lightweight yet sturdy, extremely simple to set up and dismantle (allen key needed) and great for storage.Cons : the 'self spot' design poses a significant drawback for those looking to dip below parallel. Basically the actual height of the paralettes are quite small. To get around this I have had to have them positioned on mini carpets. I am average height of 5 foot 11 so i imagine those over 6 foot who have particularly long arms and legs may find it difficult to do much of a dip. Also, i take a minor issue with the price. 90 quid for not much finish is overpriced. Considering i paid 60 quid for a much larger squat rack just as sturdy and well built. However, one must pay these prices when the competiton is obselete. If you want to get your dips in, look no further. But those giants among us may need to look elsewhere

Not as expensive quality as the price would suggest
As others have noted it is sturdy and for my specific needs it's fine. There was no instruction beyond a picture of the way it should be screwed together. However it needs assembling with the screws loosened and then each bar placed on a flat floor and the screws tightened up ensuring the four feet are all level otherwise you are left with it rocking and needing to put a wedge under one foot. Tighten the screws when it's leveled not with the item on its side on the kitchen table the way I did ! Finally my one annoyance with this is the rubber feet are not precisely sized so they fall off - all of them. Super glue didn't hold them on and in the end I had to wrap the metal ends with duck tape and then get the rubber caps to fit more snugly - they still might slip off so I added belt-and-braces with a dab of super-glue on the duck tape wrapping and now the 8 feet stay put if I move the bars to stow them away. For something of this price the loose fitting feet is frankly pathetic. It'll do but I can't give it 5 stars.

Overall very good quality! I use them for front levers (very useful if you can hold the position a few seconds, but are not strong enough to hold it from a dynamic pull on a high bar) and dips, I'm 6ft and can easily do full ROM dips on these. However the plastic feet come off very easily, which can be quite annoying.

Good stable bars for dips
Quite expensive but a good quality product. I use them mainly for dips with a weighted vest. The bars are well made and pretty solid and stable in use, even with the extra weight. Easily portable and stored, so great for home use. Generally very pleased with the bars.

This will last forever.
This is a very high quality product, it does not take up much space and can be easily stored away once the legs have been removed, and it is completely stable during use. It only takes a few minutes to remove the screws. This has given me one of the best workouts Ive ever had and Ive used weights before. There are so many different exercises you can do but this can only be done on a product that will last, is durable, is stable, will not break and one you can trust. This product ticks all of the boxes and I cannot recommend it enough.
