Q: Can I download the configuration software from the www as I don't have a cd drive.

I downloaded "FootSwitch" v6.9.1 from pcsensor.com, worked fine on my Windows 10, and when remapped, I'm using it on my Mac

Q: Are these pedals analogue like an accelerator? or are they simply large buttons that click once?

These pedals are essentially a computer keyboard with 3 buttons, operated by feet. However, mapping software lets you control what happens when you click and hold, or if you click few times in quick succession.

Q: What is the actuation force of the pedels? Can you rest your foot on them without pressing them.

They do require some force - so I would say you can rest your foot on the pedals LIGHTLY. The weight of a medium-sized hardback book would be sufficient to actuate the pedals.

Q: Can I use two of these pedals in conjunction to have 6 pedals?

Yes. Simply assign each pedal to a particular key.
