A really lovely looking boot that I’d hoped would serve me well. The side zip made them very easy to get on and off and to begin with they were quite comfortable. Not in the same league as my Salomon boots but for the price, pretty decent. Unfortunately, as someone who walks up to 15 miles a day with his dogs, these boots soon started to feel the effects. The sole began feeling very thin, to the point where I could barely walk over a tiny stone without feeling its imprint push through to my foot. After only a couple of months, they became too unsuitable for me to wear on my walks. Even trying to wear them to the shop felt like going barefoot. Such a shame when they still looked new and should have had plenty of life left in them. I’ve only had one pair of these so I do not know if the same happens to the others but maybe one day I’ll give them another chance?

it's good for work

Seems like a good sturdy shoe, but sized pretty small. I’m normally a uk 8, so bought a uk 8, which felt a little small, but unfortunately I hoped the leather would stretch out a bit... it did not... and after a couple of shifts at work I realised I was now stuck with a shoe which I couldn’t wear because my toes touch the end, and couldn’t return. Admittedly my own fault that I can’t return them. There’s also no support inside the shoe, so they’re not particularly comfy anyway. I didn’t get the opportunity to find out how waterproof they were. They’re lightweight & would probably have been a good boot in a size up with an inner sole in them and a thick pair of socks!

Let me first start by saying these aren't bad boots. I've only had them a week and they've worn on well, and were comfortable to walk in.Onto the negatives, these were on my wish list and I was bought them as a birthday gift, and the reason I wanted them was for 2 primary reasons, needing to be waterproof and the zip. They've failed me in both counts.Waterproof? The sole is very waterproof, however you can't call them waterproof unless the upper is also waterproof, which it isn't. I discovered this by stepping in a puddle that just went over the lip of the sole, I instantly felt a cold, damp sensation. I was disappointed, however I shall probably carry on using the boots but with a bit more caution.The zip? I thought the point of the zip would mean I didn't need to lace up and unlace the boots when putting them on and taking them off. This is disappointment number 2. Yes the zip makes it a bit easier to put on the boots and take them off, but you still need to use the laces.

these are very nice boots but they're not practical.they are far too soft.

There ok but walked 12 miles in them, not far but was not a good idea. Quality average ish.
