Bang for buck
I’ve been genuinely impressed with Amazon Basics AA and AAA batteries. They deliver consistently strong, reliable power across everything I’ve used them in — from TV remotes and wireless keyboards to game controllers, smart home sensors, and kids’ toys. Performance has been comparable to far more expensive branded batteries, with no noticeable drop-off in power or premature failures. What really stands out is their reliability over time. They hold charge well in low-drain devices, don’t leak, and feel dependable even when left installed for months. For everyday household use, they simply work exactly as you’d expect a good battery to work — no fuss, no surprises. The value proposition is exceptional. You get dependable performance at a price that makes sense, especially if you go through batteries regularly. They’re ideal for bulk buying without feeling like you’re compromising on quality. Overall, these are batteries you can buy with confidence. Practical, reliable, and excellent value — Amazon Basics AA and AAA batteries have become my default choice and I see no reason to switch back to more expensive alternatives.

Reliable, Long-Lasting Batteries — I’ve Ordered These Multiple Times
These Amazon Basics rechargeable AA batteries are excellent. I’ve ordered them multiple times now, and they’ve been consistently reliable every time. The 2400 mAh capacity lasts a long time, whether I’m using them in controllers, toys, cameras, or household devices, and they hold their charge well between uses. They recharge quickly, perform just as well as more expensive brands, and have saved me a lot of money over time. I also appreciate the convenience of the 16-pack — it’s great to always have spares ready to go. Overall, these are dependable, high-quality rechargeable batteries at a great price. I’ll definitely continue reordering them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for long-lasting rechargeables.

A Little Pricey but a Quality Battery Set
The Amazon Basics 16 Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, have been a dependable choice for us so far. In terms of performance, they have done exactly what we need them to do. They arrived pre charged, charged up again without issue, and have successfully held their charge through repeated use. We have recharged them many times, and they continue to perform consistently. For everyday household devices like remotes, wireless accessories, and small electronics, they have been reliable and durable. Compared to many other well known brands, the pricing is better. Right now, this set works out to roughly 1 € per battery, which is not unreasonable for 2400 mAh rechargeables. I still feel they sit about 15 to 20 percent higher than they ideally should. Sustainable products often appeal to people who care about reducing waste, though the upfront cost can be a real barrier for many households. More competitive pricing would make it easier for families to justify switching from disposable batteries, even if the long term savings are clear. Build quality feels solid, and we have not experienced early failures or noticeable degradation beyond what you would normally expect over time. The 2400 mAh capacity is strong for higher drain devices, and they have handled regular use well. Overall, these are dependable rechargeable batteries that perform as advertised. With slightly sharper pricing, they would be an even stronger value. As it stands, I would still buy them again if needed.

Impressive enough to buy more...
I shall be buying more of these rechargeable batteries. At present, I'm using them to power outside lights that my wife insists need to be on - despite them being solar powered and there being insufficient sunlight to keep them charged. Fortunately, the lights have removable rechargeable batteries so I'm whacking these AmazonBasics batteries in them every 3-4 days to keep her happy. As any man knows, this is essential if you want to do anything that doesn't involve a constant whining sound in your ears. They charge quickly and they appear to have good life. They probably have a better life than I would if I was to stop placing them in the exterior lights. Come to think of it, such a risk isn't worth taking. I would be safer taking a long walk off a short pier, hang-gliding in the Himalaya's or hitching a ride on the back of Lewis Hamilton's F1 car at 210 mph and asking Pastor Maldonado to return to F1 and try to overtake us without actually hitting us. They're a rather neat grey and lime green colour. If you don't like lime green, tough. I think it is a perfectly nice colour that reflects environmental concern, something that won't be at the top of the list when you come to dispose of any battery in this day and age. Your local council will probably insist you place the batteries in a silly bag in order for them to take them, so you'll inevitably just throw them into the general waste bin. Woody Woodpecker - whatever happened to him? I miss him. But I digress... I wasn't sure about buying these batteries and almost opted for another brand (a better known brand where batteries are concerned). However, I then realised that I was probably going to do little but subsidise their next ridiculous "Bunny Rabbit" advertisement on TV and I couldn't live with the thought of that. The thing is, I've nothing against that bunny but it is wearing a bit thin now. How many times can you advertise batteries with a toy bunny and keep the interest of people? A year? 3 years? But 15-20 years? It must have been on TV that long now? Everyone knows a normal bunny would have long since died, popped its clogs and gone to bunny heaven. Don't try using these batteries to power your Tesla. They're unlikely to work. For everything else, they do the job. Stop wasting your time reading this and get them bought. Before you do, spare a thought for Woody Woodpecker. He's probably redundant, or even dead.

Excellent performance, comparable to Eneloop Pro's
I am great fan of LSD (Low Self Discharge) batteries for torches and my flashguns and have had a set of Eneloop Pro batteries for about a year now that have performed well and now I wanted some more, I spotted these at around 1/2 the price of the eneloop batteries and thought I would give them a go. I am fortunate enough to have a smart charger that is able to carry out a capacity test on these and after a couple of cycles (charge, discharge and charge) I was getting more than 95% of the rated capacity of the battery even when being discharged continuously at 2 amps which is 10 times higer than you would discharge them during an official test. Discharging at a lower rate will give higher readings and is more realistic in some applications. Comparing these to my Eneloop Pro batteries, they perform extremely well providing about 98% of the capacity of the equivalent Eneloop which are rated higher so they are well on track with the well known brands. You will soon find that when you start using LSD batteries like these, you will never want to switch back to standard Ni-Mh batteries again. Even though some are rated around 3000 mAh, these contain a lot more usable energy so the device will actually last longer especially in high power devices such as digital cameras and flashguns. Some things to note... Although these claim to be pre-charged, mine did not seem to have much initial charge so charge them up before use if you can. It only took 20 mins in a charger and made a big difference. You will need to use a good charger to get the full capacity of these batteries The frustration free packaging is a good idea but the batteries are wrapped together in packs of 4, I don't normally have issues with packaging however these were tricky to get out! I will definitely be getting some more of these at some point to go inside a DSLR battery grip so I can be sure that I always have some power for my camera even if the normal rechargeable batteries run out. Overall, one of the best battery purchases I have made in a long time.

I give up - no good for my use
I have a wiser home system where every radiator TRV is individually programmable by app. Excellent product, saving many £££'s on heating. They each individually monitor room temperature and if it drops below the setting allocated, open the valve via a small motor. I could go on about the schedules etc.... this is not a Wiser product review. The thing is each of the 12 units takes two AA's. A "Normal" AA lasts about a year before needing to be replaced. However, wanting to ramp up the eco benefit I did a lot of research and finally landed on this Amazon rechargeable. I'm very disappointed that a fully charged set registers only 20%-40% when put in the device and then needs changing in about a month. The hassle of regular change and seeing the red blinking lights around the house is very triggering. Additionally, leaving the house empty in winter for weeks is now an excessive stress. I guess the 1.2v rating is just not good enough for these devices expecting 1.5v. I'm sure these rechargeable batteries are good for other purposes, but not this purpose. As a result, I'm having to buy a large pack of disposables to rectify the matter. Lesson learned, money wasted due to length of time from purchase. Very disappointed.

Batteries So Powerful They Could Run the North Pole
I bought these rechargeable batteries for one reason: **Christmas lights.** Hours and hours of Christmas lights. Days, even. Weeks, if necessary. I wanted illumination so steady and so relentless that even Santa would squint as he flew over my street. And let me tell you, these batteries DELIVER. The moment I charged them up, I swear I heard a faint choir of angels (possibly my imagination, possibly the fairy lights themselves humming with excitement). I loaded them into my lights and… BOOM. The glow. The shimmer. The sheer *luminosity* of it all. My house didn’t just sparkle, it achieved a level of brightness that could guide ships into harbour. I wrapped the first set around my little red-berry-bearing tree. Hours passed. Still glowing. Night turned into morning. Still glowing. Neighbourhood dogs barked at the suspiciously constant light. STILL. GLOWING. Then I used them for the fairy lights on my door cover. Same story. Hours and hours of uninterrupted festive brilliance. Meanwhile, my neighbours frantically battled with plug sockets, overloaded extension leads, and timers that only seem to work when Mercury is in retrograde. Not me. Oh no. I stroll past my lights like a smug festive wizard, knowing full well that my energy supply is infinite. I have more rechargeable batteries. SO many more. I have become the Christmas equivalent of someone hoarding gold bullion in a bunker. The neighbours keep asking, “How are yours STILL on?” I just smile mysteriously, like I’ve made a deal with the Elf King. But really, it’s these batteries. These beautiful, unstoppable, long-lasting, Christmas-saving batteries. If these things ever go out, it’ll be because I took them out myself, not because they gave up. These batteries don’t give up. They PUSH THROUGH. They WORK OVERTIME. They carry the entire festive season on their tiny cylindrical shoulders. Buy them. Charge them. Illuminate your life like a glorious holiday beacon. **Hours and hours of Christmas lights? Try days**

Battery seems okay
The battery seems okay, but the size for this AA battery, not sure had it got 1mm extra bulk, it seems to not fit normal UM-3 slot. I had to massage it in. Will see.

pratiche e affidabili

Great option for toys
I was going through batteries like water for kids toys. These have been great in both AA and AAA. Very easily charged and good life on them once charged. It has saved me a lot compared to constantly buying batteries.

Ok, ale grube
Ok, ale rzeczywiście średnica baterii trochę większa (grubsza) niż standard, więc nie wszędzie będą pasować.
