I bought these socks for travelling to East Africa with and am very happy to have chosen them.These socks are great for travelling with as they are quite thick and very comfortable for all the walking I am currently doing.Additionally these are very good for wearing during the cold evenings as apart from the comfort they also keep my feet nice and warm.Being at high altertude, on a mountain plateux, it is not only cold at night but it is also hot during the day.With other socks one doesn't expect the same comfort and one would expect sweaty feet yet these are opposite, they are comfortable and my feet remain dry of sweat.I am recommending this product as the socks perform excellently on an East African plateux so they will perform similarly during both UK summers and winters thus they are very good value.
