KLIQ UberTuner - Professional Clip-On Tuner for All Instruments (multi-key modes) - with Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Bass & Chromatic Tuning Modes (also for Mandolin and Banjo)

This is a good little tuner and I sense that the company are customer-friendly, judging by comments that they have left in response to some unhappy reviewers. The screen is bright and clear, the display stable and precise, and tuning is a much quicker process for me now. I also like the fact that - unlike a lot of revered tuners like the Boss TU-3, this little tuner can be calibrated to 432Hz (the Boss only goes to 436Hz), which could be important if you want to experiment with that tuning and its alleged benefits with a degree of convenience. Construction: well, like most things it's plastic. But it appears to be designed well enough to last with sensible use, but not abuse. The battery can be changed quickly without fuzz (a coin battery, the number of which escapes me) and according to other reviews, will need changing about once a year. Value for money: at the current Amazon price of £15, I think it represents good value for money. It's at least £20 elsewhere. And with a 2 or 3 year warranty, with a decent company to back that warranty, I think it's a great buy.

The Kliq Ubertuner, wow! After years of buying every different types of tuners, foot pedal tuners, tuners with a inbuilt microphone, pitch pipes ect ect, this fantastic all instrument clip-on tuner blows the rest right out of the water! It simply clips on to the head of your guitar and works by picking up the vibration of the string you're playing, by using your tuning pegs you simply tighten or loosen the strings you need to tune and by following the easy to read full colour display screen each string is tuned in seconds! No constant fiddling about anymore, it makes tuning a joy and no longer a chore!

Really wish there was a simple on switch that you didn’t need to hold for a couple of seconds. When I am quickly trying to check the tuning between songs on stage every second is precious!! But saying that it is an amazing tuner… It will tune my uke even if there is loud background noise. This is the best tuner I have found so far.

Having used an inexpensive tuner for years, I eventually got fed up with it's inaccuracy especially when the battery was not at peak power level (which was often). My cheap tuner also buzzed when I played certain notes (very annoying) and failed to hear the low E string unless the battery was new. I am extremely pleased with this, my most expensive tuner so far. The display is bright and clear, it reads the notes instantly and apears to be very accurate. Unlike my old tuner the battery does not loose charge over time, or if it does you wouldn't notice, it still works perfectly. I wish I'd invested in an expensive tuner years ago.

I've used digital tuners before, for years, but only the mic variety chromatic. This is the first clip on vibration sensing tuner I've used, and I find it very good, both on the guitar, and chromatic setting, which I use for baroque lute. Being independent of ambient noise is a big plus, and the tuner is accurate. The only grouse I have is the the pitch standard setting only goes down to a=432 hz. I would have preferred it to go to a=415 hz, which would have been most useful for the historical music instrumentalist. Notwithstanding that, a very good tuner, easy to use, and well made.

This is my first clip on tuner and I'm impressed! I own an excellent fender pedal tuner, an ancient digital handheld plug in tuner with built in mic, a pitch pipe, and I use a decent tuner app on my phone but the KLIQ UberTuner is my new go to tuner. It is as accurate as my fender pedal tuner (if not more so), more versatile than all my other tuners, it's compact and highly adjustable, and can be used in loud environments without issue. I think the display looks cool too. I highly recommend this tuner!!

GREAT PRODUCT in itself.... BUT so very difficult to see when attached to my alto saxophone. Needs to be able to rotate 360 degrees, so as to be to see the screen.

Had 2 other tuners, just lost my korg pitch black pedal tuner, so bought this. The other two both had the same problem that they found it difficult to give an easy reading for the E string. This one has no problems with it. I don’t know however how it is going to perform when I am tuning up with the band because of the ambient noise. I am reviewing early because finally a tuner which handles that low string! Will update if I can remember. Update it seems to work fine with background noise. Battery life not too bad . Best tuner I had yet worth a buy for sure

El afinador es bastante poderoso - su flexibilidad está muy por encima de otros afinadores. El 1% de precisión es perfecto para usar en casa, también por la rapidez en la que muestra las notas. Cromático, Guitarra, Bajo, Violín y Ukulele. Sí, tarda dos segundo en encender, y aún así, no es un punto negativo. Flexibilidad también pues se puede ajustar entre 430hz y 450hz. Observen cuidadosamente la instalación de la batería. El manual únicamente está impreso en inglés, está muy completo.

Acquistato per mio figlio che si allena con la tromba. Però diciamo che sarà per uso per tutta la famiglia, perché si adatta a tanti strumenti musicali. E' quella la cosa bella, è piccolo, leggero e si aggancia allo strumento. Dicitura anglo sassone delle note, però direi pare accurato e funzionare bene e fare il suo uso.

When I first discovered clip on tuners, I was hooked. As I am lazy about any piece of gear which has to be plugged in, the clip on tuner solved all that for almost any situation. When I say "almost", I mean that although clip on tuners can be used for intonation, I wouldn't use one of them personally. Although these tuners are becoming more accurate at an almost exponential rate ( as with all other digital effects and similar devices ), the same can be said of more expensive higher end tuners as well. I have a ton of older tuners in some boxes somewhere, and I mainly use clip-ons, but for any type of "benchwork intonatiion" I have two much more accurate units for that job. The first is a Sabine rack tuner ( nearly twenty years old ) which is still very accurate, but the most accurate is my TC electronic polytune. This is the absolutely best tuner for the money made by anyone anywhere. A digital strobe tuner within one cent accuracy in a pedal which costs under a hundred bucks and can hang with any Peterson. Back to the UberTuner. I've been using Snarks for quite awhile because they're cheap enough to buy one for every guitar and acoustic instrument you own, including electric and bass guitars. The UberTuner ( sounds like the rank of a Nazi SS band conductor ) is superior in several ways. With the Snark, you can hit the note but the "needle" seem to always go back and forth from flat to sharp forever. With the UberTuner, you just hit the note, wait for the solid blue circle, and you're in there almost instantly. One of the best features is the huge display which is very bright along with a 3 second automatic shutoff when you're not tuning. The clip is very strong and sturdy along with the rest of the tuner. I use clip-on tuners for jamming alone at home, jamming with other guitarists, and live gigs ( electric and acoustic ). The only place I won't use one is in the studio or doing a setup. I've heard some complaints here about the on button needing to be a different color besides black. Well, the one I just got has a silver power button with the other two black ones for adjusting settings. I've also seen some people comment about the display having a slight delay in powering up and the tuner taking some time finding the correct tuning. Maybe mine is an updated version, but it powers on instantly and locks on to the correct tuning within a couple of seconds. I have no complaints about this tuner whatsoever and would highly recommend it to anyone over other clip-on tuners out there.
