Great educational aid
This colouring book was purchased to help with my degree level studies. I've found this to be a massive help in learning human anatomy with little effort being put into learning other that colouring the diagrams in. There is enough detail to cover everything needed for my learning needs for university. As a 'hands on' learner this has been ideal and is great for that type of learner. The book is well set out and is of good quality which adds to the feel of the item. To follow the colour scheme advised for the diagrams you will need a fairly extensive set of colouring pens/pencils. I've recommended to other students who have also found this to be really beneficial. Overall, a good quality item, nicely presented and has really helped with my learning.

Fantastic for A&P revision
I bought this after getting a couple of handouts on my course like those in the book and found the information stuck so much better than reading alone. I ummed and ahhed for a while about buying it purely due to the cost, but I was so glad I did, it was an invaluable part of the revision for my atamomy and physiology exam. Like some of the other reviews say, it does look daunting at first glance, particularly complicated diagrams like the cell, but by colouring you make sense of the diagrams and instill the information in your memory. It's fab, I would defintely recommmend it to anyone studying A&P.

Great for any budding medical student or adult colouring in fan, who fancies something constructive.
My neice is off to university next year to study medicine, but hadnt taken biology A level. Knowing these books are often recommended for medical students, I figured it would both give her a head start, and help her keep some of the GCSE stuff in her mind in the interim. A great way to learn the parts of the human body, and also relaxing for those who like colouring in! She was very pleased, and went straight off to dig out her old coloured pencils and start!

Great for learning anatomy, but the paper is far too thin!
I'm an artist with a deep appreciation for science, so I wanted to expand my knowledge of human anatomy through colouring. After comparing the Netter book Netter's Anatomy Coloring Book: with Student Consult Access, 2e (Netter Basic Science) with this one, I went for this one because of the provided technique of colouring the names of the structures and the structures themselves to aid memorization. Kinesthetic learning, the book informs me, is what this is called. I'm enjoying the book a lot, and finding it wonderful for learning, but it must be pointed out that the paper is too thin to use my Stabilo 68 water-based felt-tip markers on, as they bleed through to the other side. Luckily, I found this out by testing the markers on one of the blank pages at the back of the book. Pros: Images are printed only on one side of the page, but if you use felt tip markers and they WILL bleed through - it can make reading the accompanying notes more difficult. I have also tried using Stabilo CarbOthello coloured pencils, but unfortunately, the colour simply sloughs off the paper onto the opposite page! Ugh! So, I'm left with making copies of every page, and colouring with my felt tip pens on those, because my printer paper is thick enough to prevent bleeding. It would be nice if this book was accompanied by a PDF version which you could print pages off, thereby avoiding the aforementioned problems. All in all, an excellent book and learning tool, and I look forward to trying the other books in the series: Physiology, Chemistry, etc. Just watch out for the paper thinness, and be prepared to do a lot of photocopying!

Love this book
This book is so good I can't actually believe it. I bought another one for my daughter so she would have her own one as well and colour alongside my but this is fantastic. The information is in language which is easy to understand and the range of views offered really gives you a very clear idea of the make up of the part you are colouring in. Also, I can't retain information by reading a book, this is brilliant if you need to learn visually. Fantastic.

Perfect for medicine students !
I ordered many of different colouring books but this one is by far the best ! Yeah it looks busy and kind of unporsessional with lots of scribbles but when you properly go through it you realise it's because of all the details it contains and it kindly provides additional details that we have to know for MBChB course Year 1 ! Its amazinf and Im glad I found it ! WOULD 100% RECOMMEND ! Contains images from various angles and planes too which is super handy !

Good med student basic revision but some inaccuracies
Good colouring book for med student basic revision, but some information inaccurate/not clear. Important to use in addition to other study aids. Useful for those with difficulty with prolonged attention span.

Helpful
As a 1st year Physiotherapy BSc student this colouring book is already coming in useful; for instance the 6 deep lateral rotator muscles get a bit confusing for me but colouring them in is helping me understand their placements amongst eachother. The information supplied is basic but easy to understand. I've had no issues with pencil colour or marks showing on the other side of the paper but I'd expect it wouldn't take well to pens/felt tips.

Great way to learn anatomy! This book provides a fun and entertaining way to learn human anatomy. Colouring in the anatomical pictures helped me to remember them better and made Anatomy fun and more familiar. As you colour, you can really focus on the anatomical structure you are working on, and so its easy to remember them. Strongly recommended for medical, Yoga, sport medicine students!

This is a fun interactive way to learn, especially if you are into those adult colouring books. It has a lot of knowledge about anatomy and personally I find it makes it easier to study when you are colouring it yourself
