Does the job, would expect the glass breaker to work but the handle is strong

This made getting in and out the car so much easier for my mum. Fits any car and super simple to use.

This is the most amazing gadget. I have a back problem and on a bad day or if the car is on an incline, it’s really difficult for me to get out. This handle slips into the metal ring on my car and I can easily lean on it and get out. I was also really pleased it had a built in torch, very handy. Likewise, an in built sharp edge capable of cutting through a seat belt if god forbid you are in an accident, the end is also capable of smashing the window in the same instance. I haven’t had to try the latter two, thank god, but I feel safe with the gadget in the car. So cheap too!

Bought to aid elevation out of the car post surgery. Very clever little device. Fits snuggly into the side pocket of the door and does help getting out. Has an additional torch attached (handy) a seatbelt cutter (?) and can be used to break glass - I’m assuming they’re preparing you for an accident!

I bought this for my Mum as she struggles getting in and out of the car and it has really helped her.The item itself is very lightweight, so can be popped in to her handbag when she goes out. There is a torch at the front of the handle which is very bright and allowed her to see where to put the handle at night. The handle fits in to the hook on the car and did not leave any marks on the car (which my husband was worried about). We have tried this on both of our cars (Alfa Romeo & Peugeot) and have had no problems with either.I would highly recommend this for anyone that struggles getting in and out of the car, my Mum loves it.

Brilliant to help older/disabled people get into the car.

As a one legged amputee in a wheelchair I hoped this might help in getting in/out of our car but it just gets in the way, pity.Fits somewhat loosely in the lock staple of our 2015 Toyota Yaris hybrid. Beware of possible damage to paintwork below staple from end of locating bar.Most suitable for someone just lacking agility to help get in or out of the car.Product seems to be well made. Torch useful, seat belt cutter and hammer?

5 stars for the idea, value for money and because it works. Purchased for an elderly person who has trouble getting out of a car. No stars for a design fault. The plastic battery housing is fixed using a single small metal screw which sticks out very slightly and, when the cane is used to get out of a vehicle can scratch the paintwork of the car, as it did with my car, leaving a substantial scar about 5mm long. The product is carefully crafted and rounded to avoid damaging so why use a metal screw right where the product is likely to come into contact with the car. They could of at least fully countersunk the screw, but they haven't. Buyer beware, protect the car or cover the screw first.
