This grabber is really great. I have a complicated spinal injury and very little help so this has become invaluable in getting things from the floor or anywhere out of reach, in fact. It is a simple design but very effective and happily, for me, it is lightweight. The magnet it a useful addition and will pick up paper clips, hair clips, coins, etc., the grabbing end is also very accurate, making picking up paper or small items easy. I am unable to pick up heavier items as I've not got the strength in my lumbar and low thoracic spine to allow this but I am confident the grabber could withstand heavier items. Items with rounded edges, such as a jar lid, are more complicated to pick up so a little ingenuity is required! This is great value for money and has made my life a lot easier and less painful. Item arrived in a huge box, wrapped well. I would reccomend it without hesitation.

I have bought two of these Reachers now - one for my mother-in-law who has very restricted mobility and lives alone, and one for my partner who has had a stroke. The length of the Reacher allows dropped items to be picked up whether you are standing or sitting down. Although it may look a bit flimsy from the pictures, it is actuallu quite robust and able to pick up items like a phone handset or a dropped walking stick from the floor. I guess it would be useful for reaching items from the backs of cupboards or under beds too.The magnet in the tip is not incredibly stong, but for small items up to, say, a small pair of scissors, it works well. The grabbing claw is nice and secure and allows some quite fine manipulation and the trigger mechanism is easy to use.A very useful tool which can give anyone who has trouble bending and stretching a little more independence and confidence around the home.

I bought this for my husband when he had a hip operation and was not allowed to bend for a number of weeks. It was a blessing, very easy to use and, importantly, took the pressure off me. The string broke after about a week but I knotted it and got it working again.

Great help after an operation, was given one but bought a second one with a longer length, so could have one upstairs and one downstairs, will continue to use even after recovery saves all that bending down and great for opening and shutting curtains. Handy for anyone to have in their home.

This device is light, easy to use and very effective. It can effectively and firmly grab and convey articles of a wide range of sizes. The magnet on its tip is quite strong and therefore very useful. In addition to these practical merits it is brightly coloured and is therefore a cheerful addition to the domestic environment. I wish that more devices designed to assist the disabled were similarly finished. Being surrounded by an endless vista of metallic grey and dark maroon does little to lift the spirits.So, get one of these little gadgets and bring some sunshine into your life.

Following an operation I was given ominous warnings about not bending down. After a few days my poor husband was fed up picking up everything for me and I ordered this device. It really has made an incredible difference and made me much more independent.It is well designed and seems pretty robust - although I have been careful about picking up heavy objects. It copes with my current 800 page paperback easily. I have also used it with single sheets of paper and small coins. It is also a good aid for dressing and undressing.Hopefully, I won't need to use it for too much longer but will nonetheless put it safely away for future use!

Very useful grip extension. Things always manage to fall into inaccessible gaps and leave one frusrated trying to retrieve them without success. A fork is no long enough, a stick has no grip... This solves that problem. It seems well made and becasue it uses a string/cord mechanism, it would be easy to replace the cord. You can also adjust ther strength of grip by shortening ot lenghtening the cord. Mine works fine 'as is'. Maybe not something you'll use everyday, but you'll be very glad you have it when you need it.Only thing is now I have cleared the inaccessible areas of debris, I see that those same areas need cleaning...

This is an excellent product however I feel it could be slightly longer and also lighter and it hurts my hand where my tendons have been operated on in the past making it difficult to use. I feel as it is for disabled or elderly mostly that the grip needs to be reformed and rethought completely. However I have 4 stars as the product and service was still great generally and I would buy similar not the same from the same seller again. Thank you and stay safe

Der Greifarm macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Ich habe diesen aber bestellt, weil lt. Produktbeschreibung ein Clip zum befestigen des Greifarmes an der Gehhilfe dabei sein sollte.Leider fehlte dieser und es gab keine Möglichkeit über den Verkäufer nur diesen nach zu bestellen.Zur Verpackung: das war echt eine Frechheit. Ein riesiger Karton voller Papier, genug um eine normale Mülltonne zu füllen. Das muss wirklich nicht sein.

je suis très satisfaite de cette pince, très légère, grande facilité de s'en servir avec en plus le bout d la pince aimanté qui peut être d'une grande utilité. Livraison très rapide, bien emballé, carton peut être un peu grand pour l'article. Je recommande vivement cet article.

Resistente al uso en relación a otros productos equivalentes de otras marcas. Además, tiene más fuerza que otros en la función de asir objetos. Sin embargo, otros cogen la objetos con menos riesgo de perderlos por la forma / geometria de las pinzas. Recomendable por mi parte.

Ho scelto questo modello, fra i più cari disponibili (costa il doppio in Italia rispetta all'Inghilterra), perché in Inghilterra ha ricevuto ottime recensioni. Ne sono rimasta molta delusa. Non soltanto è difficile raccogliere fogli di carta (quelli che mi cadono più spesso), ma è pure rischioso prendere un barattolo da un ripiano in alto perché il braccio non lo tiene abbastanza stretto e l'articolo rischia di cadere e, se di vetro, di frantumarsi.
