High Quality Piece of Kit
Our old fan had given up after 19 years' use and ratings looked good on this one, at a fair price so I ordered one. Compared to the incumbent fan, it is miles ahead on design, quality and effectiveness. The Fan unit sits on a very secure cradle, the latter secured by 4 screws and I fitted a plywood shelf between two joists before screwing the cradle down. The unit then fits snugly onto the cradle, which itself has two hinged arms which locate over the top of the unit before being screwed down at the non-hinged end. 10cm pipe fits snugly and I secured with two long cable ties. Wiring is simple, using L, N and Switched Live, the L allowing the unit to run on for between 1 and 20 mins or so (this adjustment is inside the wiring box so easiest to set it before you commence the work). There is then a two position switch on the top for Hi and Lo settings - labelling a bit confusing as to which setting is which but you will soon hear the difference by trying both. I would be kidding myself if I said it was quiet because it isn't but it is smooth and just placing your hand over the internal inlet vent proved just how powerful the suction was. Very impressed.

Nice fan
Bought this to put into a passive air vent in our bathroom after shower upgrade. Nice extractor, works well, reasonably quiet so no complaints and it keeps the bathroom mist free on the high setting. There isn't much noticeable difference between low and high settings sound wise, but the bathroom does mist slightly on low, so it was put back to high. A worthwhile investment.

Failed on receipt - easy return
Bought this to replace a five year old one that was giving up the ghost. Replacement failed to work- would have got another but no stock left.

Nice, quiet unit.
Great unit, more power and much quieter than my old unit. The only issue I had was the internal electrical connector was loose. I wired it up correctly but it wouldn’t work initially. After a bit of head scratching I wiggled the wires inside and it came to life.

A jet above your head
Only 3 days after installed on top of my unsuité in the attic and so far so good. I'm using the low setting and 1 minute of the timer. I kept the unsuité door and window shut, and I could see no steam on the mirror after 15 minutes of hot shower until I opened the shower door. The installation is fairly straight forward, the 4-points fixing holder which can be separates from the main unit, it made the job a lot easier. It also comes with wall plugs and screws for wall mounting.Overall, it performs very well, but in a bit of noisy side even though it is in low setting. It does sounds like a private mini jet is waiting for you from a distance.I'll update the review again in the next 6 months if the performance drops

Spend more on something better!
This product looks like cheap rubbish. The manual reads like it was badly translated by someone with a tenuous grasp of the english language. It arrived wrapped in a black bin bag with screws shaking around in the box. Nothing about this thing shouts any level of quality. Strange to say the least that others are reviewing this so highly.A standard inline fan comes with a connector block into which you can connect your Live, Switched Live and Neutral and can clamp the electrical supply in similar to a plug. This has extractor has a foot long cable soldered into the circuit board and just sticking out the side. Its hot glued and crimped so you cannot remove it. What this means is you would have to fit your connector block outside the pump to allow you to connect to your electrical feed. I would have concerns doing this but each to their own.It didn't work when connected, thankfully, as I was on the fence about fitting this thing at all. The supplier is horrendous to deal with and it took weeks and many phone calls to Amazon to resolve and finally get a full refund. Finally just bought a Vortice Lineo 100T from a local electrical store. Costs a bit more but so far it's solid. I dont think it is worth cheaping out on this, but it is your call!

Inline fan
Admittedly the description was a little confusing, where it spoke about a twin fan system, but that's if you want to join two single fans together.Having fitted the fan to two different extraction points and using a 'Y' splitter to the fan, I cannot see the need for two fans as the suction is very good. At the moment it's good, but when the weather warms up and the heating is no longer required, this will be the acid test. I may need to use the second speed, but not just yet.The unit is a lot quieter than other extractors I have used, mounting it on foam rubber cuts down the drone to a minimum.

It is also pretty
It was bigger than I though from the pictures on the net and that I estimated from the dimensions given. However it did fit into the available space and works very well, I don't know how long it will last but it appears to be robustly built so should do the job. It is also pretty quiet
