Good, but not a surface competitor
I bought this to replace and aging linx 1010 tablet. So far I've been moderately impressed with it. Handles most day to day tasks with ease such as surfing the web, writing emails and text editing. The screen is very nice, colour rendering excellent. However despite the nice high resolution display don't expect to be running any graphics intensive programs on it. You can run some games on it for entertainment just nothing fancy that requires a dedicated GPU or lots of RAM. It does a lot of what I want, and a little of what I really wanted....just not as well as I had hoped it would. However I would have to pay 2-3 times as much for that..I got this to reduce the amount of gear in my camera back pack when I travel, It's big enough to see fine detail in images and the colours out of the box are good. Running my Spyder screen calibration doodad only improved things further but not by a great margin.I can skype, email, read my books via the kindle app now installed on it.I can write blog posts and articles on it. So it ticks a lot of boxes for my needs. I can run Lightroom and import images to an external hard drive for later editing when I get home. I can at a push do some editing on it but it struggles quite a bit. Still I means I have a lightweight "Tablet/Laptop" in my bag and not a dirty great laptop.Battery life is....okay....just watch the battery drain when you are using the wifi or anything that needs a fair bit oif power. One major gripe I have is the lack of full size usb ports. it has a USB-c port for charging and periperals a Micro USB and TF card slot. So if you ar e like me and have a lot of external hard drivers etc...you'll be buying a few adapters as you'll lose the USB-C port when charging it or running it off the mains supply. For myself the pros are as follows:Light weightGood clear screenGreat colour rendering out of the boixGreat for day to day tasksCons are:Not enough RAMSluggish with more demanding programsStylus not includedFor the price point,It does a lot more than other tablets in the same bracket. However, It's just a little underpowered to do any serious work such as photo editing, and the lag whilst using the pen when using the likes of corel painter or sketchbook pro render it unusable (though switichng the resolution to around 1920 x 1080 reduces it somewhat. You will get a fair bit of jitter on strokes using the stylus (bit disappointed I had to spend more to get the stylus, especially as it's a bit crap) but using Krita or Artrage removed quite a bit of it.It's a good low budget tablet, but don't be folled by anyone saying it's a competitor to a Surface or a Cintiq. I've seen quite a few reviewers doing this on youtube. The celeron processor, a step of from the cherry trail of the hi12, just doesn't have enough ooomph with the built in graphics, to drivve the display and a dedicated art package.Don't get me wrong, I like it, and it's a step up from my old tablet. Just a few things that let it down, such as the lack of full size usb ports. If you are looking for a good budget tablet with a great screen for doing day to day stuff....This is it. If you are wanting to do something a little more than that....spend the money on something with a better processor and more Ram.

Looks great, shame it doesn't work
Bought this as a test tablet as we need to buy 5 in total. I am glad we decided to test one before committing a lot of money. It is heavier than you would expect for a tablet/laptop but that's not a problem for us. There are 4 USB ports in the optional keyboard and micro USB and micro HDMI ports on the tablet. Type-c port seemed like a great idea, it does not mean you can charge it with a normal smartphone charger. You will need 12V output charger. In last 4 days, I have had the following problems:Day 1: unpacked and switched on no problem, Put in on charge as per recommendation by Chuwi. All seemed great. Screen is great but not usable at 100%. You will need increase to at least 175%. Chuwi recommends 250%. So, 3000 x 2000 resolution is only relevant if you are watching a movie - with you reading glasses on.Day 2: Could not connect Bluetooth mouse, drivers incompatible with new mouse. Spent the entire day updating drivers and Windows (very old and out of date). Charger stopped working, emailed seller and Chuwi,Day 3: No reply from the Seller or Chuwi. Borrowed a charger from office next door who has the same model and hates it! Rest of the day was spent updating and crashing and rebooting...Day 4: Still updating, crashing rebooting ...Decision: On paper, this is a great tablet for the money but in practice... we are returning the Tablet and will buy a known brand such as Lenovo for the same money.

The best tablet for basic tasks like watching videos, note taking and simple office everyday use - the screen is a gem
Amazing Screen, it is huge but crisp, I just love to read eBooks and pdf documents in portrait mode (holding the Chuwi accordingly), it is like a slightly oversized A4 paper. The speed of Win10 is good, no lag or issues to be contemplated when not using graphic intensive applications. So standard office apps work like a charm. Specifically because all data is on solid state discs that helps the overall performance when using documents, music and videos. Youtube and downloaded videos are fantastic and the speaker sound is decent/solid. The only downside is the relative heavy weight. If you think iPad Pro rather consider twice the weight. It is not unpleasant but clearly not as cool. In daily use I like to rest the screen on my knees / thighs but actually the split virtual keyboard of Win10 works perfectly in portrait mode and the occasional eMail or note can be easily done with it holding the Chuwi in both hands in portrait mode.Overall, for the low price you pay you get a lot of great technology in a smart and solid package (nothing wobbles and the metal casing is solid, also no issues detected with the screen). I can highly recommend it for everyday use. I have not got the keyboard nor the pen but there are plenty of good bluetooth keyboards and mice around.

Works well, happy I bought it.
Works well with the laptop. The trackpad isn't great, though, you'll probably be happier using a mouse connected via one of the USB 2 ports or Bluetooth. I'm happy I bought it. Be sure you buy this or a micro-USB OTG adapter, you'll probably need one to connect external devices. Since the keyboard USB is USB 2, better to use the micro USB on the tablet with OTG to get maximum speed from storage devices.

Chuwi Hi13 - prove that it can be done for not huge pile of bucks!
Just GREAT guys, trust me, just great. I always wanted to test Chinese hybrid and this one is truly a awesome gadget. The screen is super sharp and the colors are vivid. I've tested couple of 4k videos via internet connection and it just rocks! I'm not sure why some of the youtube reviewers claimed that speakers are not good enough. Common guys, they sound just fine for what they are supposed to be used. The touch screen sensitivity and preciseness is pretty the same as my business Lenovo Yoga (1600 euros). The only flaw is the 64gb ROM but I will definitely try with 128gb microsd in the future.I really bought it from curiosity and I'm sure this will become my home entertainment device. As tablet is bit heavy but placed on my knees or belly it will be just great device to watch movies, reviews etc.

Great but
For the price it is a great product, but it's kinda slow and the screen has more of a phone resolution than a computer.
