Mosi-Guard Spray Extra 75 ml

I've been using MosiGuard Extra for many years. It's more effective than DEET in my opinion. It works on sand flies, mossies, midges, etc, etc. I've used it in the Amazon, various countries in Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean and Asia. Always works. I understand it needs re-application as it loses its efficacy faster than the strong chemical products, but I generally apply it at dusk when most mossies come out and for the few hours of darkness, one application has been enough for my needs. Where there are daytime biting insects, you need to re-apply. A combination of this spray and wearing white and light colours has meant I've stayed bite free over many trips now. Unlike DEET, it is not toxic to humans. It also doesn't melt nail polish and plastics like flip flops. Presumably it is kinder to the environment both in terms of production and when it enters waterways e.g. when you swim or launder your clothes. The only bug spray I use. Highly recommend.

Works well and keeps the biters off however it doesn't last very long which makes it a bit pricey as several were needed over the summer mosi season

I usually get badly bitten if there are any mosquitoes at all. In May I visited Antigua (which is known for having lots of mosquitoes) where it rained a lot during the week I was there - ideal mosquito weather. However, using this spray I was bite-free at the end of the week, unlike other people who got plenty. I also liked having a product with no Deet - no worries about toxicity or the annoyance of melted plastic items. It has quite a strong smell but you stop noticing it quite quickly. It seems to protect against sand flies too as there were plenty about but no bites on me. I put it on twice a day - first thing in the morning and just before dinner. I'm doing this review because I'm back on this page buying some more! (A bottle lasts one person about 2 weeks of daily use)

Without a doubt this spray has saved our bodies from numerous mosquito bites. We took it with us on a tropical holiday and had only a few bites over 3 weeks of living on deserted islands in a tent. Others in our group brought and used 50% and 100% deet products and were bitten more than us. One thing to note -- this does have a strong smell and it also kind of cools / stings your skin a bit after application. My husband called it "our secret mosquito weapon"... but I doubt it was so secret based on the smell alone :) Not unpleasant, just very strong.

I've used the green version of Mosi-guard for years and have always been very impressed on how effective the product is, probably the best on the market. Not different for the red "extra" version, however all of the 3 sprays of the "extra" version I bought the spray leaked, resulting in sticky bottles and my travel bag (and contents) smelling strongly like insect repellent. I kept the bottles in a plastic bag, and after a while the bag was filled with liquid. I threw away 1 bottle in the end as it became too messy to use. I would certainly recommend the product itself - no mosquito that would come near! - , but they really need to sort out the packaging.

I am experienced in travelling in Africa, Caribbean and Asia. I use this product regularly to keep away Mosquitos and bugs especially in area contaminated with malaria and dengue fever. And it is amazingly efficient! I spent months in those country with no air conditioning and as long as I use Mosi-guard extra strength I am free from bites. Please note that there is a strong smell when you apply it but it wear off quickly. The effects however last for hours as promised. It is an excellent reliable product. Definitely worth investing if you travel in high risk area. You are probably better off with the lower strength if you are only looking to repel summer Mosquitos in non risk area.

Went to Indochina for three weeks and saw plenty of mossies, but didn't get attacked once. The only negative is that the smell is rather strong, and may not be to every ones liking (although I didn't mind it - but maybe that's what put off the mossies ;-)

Living in Snowdonia our garden from June on becomes a gnat and midge infested area, making sitting out in the garden a no no. Even gardening, or feeding the chickens can be a case of dash out and back in before the biting hoards descend......that is without Mosi-Guard Extra. This natural bug repellant comes in a pump spray plastic botttle, so can safely be taken into the garden or on a hike, without worry of breakage. It is easy to spray on directly, or I find works well to spray a small amount on to folded kitchen towel and wipe on arms, around ears etc. and a little goes a long way. An excellent product. Recommended.

Anti mosquitos ecologico no contaminante buen producto

Ho ordinato 8 confezioni di Mosi-Guard da 100ml. Sono invece arrivate 8 confezioni da 75ml. Grazie comunque. Le tengo così, perchè in ogni caso ne ho bisogno.

Lo buscaba hace bastante tiempo... en España dejaron de comercializarlo.

Il prodotto lo conoscevo gia è funziona benissimo, niente da dire, per il resto nell inserzione si parla di flacone da 100ml (titolo: Mosi-Guard Natural Extra Strength 100ml Insect Repellent Spray) mentre quello che mi è arrivato è da 75ml. L inserzione non è veritiera.

Es natural y va bien para auyenntar insectos que es para lo que yo lo uso.Si te tocas cerca de la boca amarga .
