Remember, you asked for this
Warning, this wasabi is no joke, don't do it, or you may put yourself in the hospital! I had a friend over, and he really likes hot horseradish and mustard, but for some reason never heard of wasabi. I decided we would do a mini wasabi challenge. I put a pearl sized dab on two teaspoons and I went first. Big mistake. Within seconds, the sinus filling breath stopping horseradish vapors overtook me. It will take your breath away if you ingest it straight. I had to run to the sink and rinse my mouth as fast as possible. Coughing, choking, it really did a number on me for a few seconds. That said, I consider it a rousing success! My buddy didn't follow my lead after watching me. It's exactly what I hoped it would be, truly strong wasabi. It's no cheap date, but when you want to spike your cocktail sauce or mustard, you can't beat this stuff. It is what people say it is. I just wish it were a little cheaper, but it's worth it if you really like powerful horseradish.

Not Quite Authentic
The first ingredient is horeradish, but it's definitely not the japanese horseradish (Wasabia japonica). The second ingredient is Wasabi. Living in Hawaii and traveling frequently to Japan i can definitely taste the difference. However, this product is not horrible, and if you don't care that it's not pure wasabi then you'll prolly enjoy it. The flavor was ok!
