McGard84537 Chrome Bulge Style Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit (M12 x 1.5 Thread Size) - for 5 Lug Wheels

Like a few here, I had swollen Ford OEM lug nuts. Actually, I had my wheels refinished and the shop spent two hours just getting the lug nuts off, crushing the outer cover part of the two-piece nuts. Not their fault, couldn’t have removed the wheels any other way and, well, the OEM lug nuts clearly have a defect. I was left with horrid, corroding, ugly lug nuts that left the stud ends exposed. Besides prettying up the refreshed wheels, I really wanted to cover the stud ends from water and salt exposure and premature corrosion. Plus, while my wheels aren’t a high-theft item around here, there have been a rash of thefts from Honda, Toyota, and Dodge products locally.This McGard set solved all three issues. They are high quality, well constructed, good looking, closed-end, one piece lug nuts that are clearly made to last. One can immediately feel it in the weight of each nut and the crisp edges without being sharp or having any burrs. The look and feel of the finish is top notch. Fit my sockets like a glove and went on very smoothly when hand threaded. Even the locking lug nut key was well made.Only time will tell if the longevity matches the look and feel when new. But even just replacing the crap OEM parts feels like the McGard parts are in a totally different league.I consider the cost rather fair for the lug nut set considering locking nuts and the key are included.If you’re on the fence, I think you’ll be pleased with the purchase. These are made in the USA and are high quality. Had them on the car for months...not rusting like the cheap ones you would by at a auto parts store.

I bought these to replace the lugs on my Ford Escape. They work well, offer great warranty and support if you lose your lock tool, and stand above other lug nuts in quality. They were a little dirty coming out of the box, but a quick wipe down got them shiny. I just wish they came with 20 normal lugs and 4 lockers, as I don't need the locking ones in my small town. Will probably get put on if I take a trip to a big city though!

I just upgraded the wheels on my car and needed new lug nuts. The Mcgard brand supplies many factory oem nuts and is the best in the business and Amazon had the absolute best price (as of this writing). The nuts look fantastic and with the Mcgard warranty I will be set for as long as I own this car.

I used these to switch rims back to OEM steel rims on 2007 Tacoma. Less than three dollars per lug nut versus Toyota OEM lugs at over seven dollars per lug. I would not be surprised if McGard makes Toyota OEM lugs as I know that they at least make their wheel locks.

Great lug nuts, well made, conical seat fits very well (taper is machined very concentric to thread). The only issue i have is the weight difference between the lug nuts and the wheel locks. Each lug nut weighs 54g (1.9 oz), while the wheel lock weighs 71g (2.5 oz); this is too much difference and it threw my wheel balance off. So, i had to purchase a set of 4 regular lug nuts separately, plus I am not able to use the wheel lock. McGard must figure out a way to redesign their wheel locks and have them match the weight of the regular nuts.

I had to replace swollen lug nuts and these were perfect fit for my Ford Escape 2013. The security lock is a great addition. It was a little taller than then original but looks good anyways.
