Assassins Creed IV Play Arts Kai Edward Kenway Action Figure

Both of the following products were gifts for my son, who went nuts when he received them!! Amazon always had great selections for games/ figures that my son wanted.

Definitely my new favorite play arts kai figure. He is an awesome and badass looking figure when you have him posed with all his accessories. Amazing sculpt,detail and comes with all his weapons in the game(except the blowdart, which would of been nice but not a big deal). Of course he is not a perfect figure, he does have a few things about him that i don't like or wish Square Enix would of done differently. The first issue and this being the most enraging issue, are his hidden wrist blades. i absolutely hate the way they did this.I wish they would of just gone with simple peg holes instead of this weird long gaping hole where you have to fit the whole blade in, why not just a(or two) simple peg hole. I remember pushing the blade down so hard trying to get it to stay(by the way it was sorta difficult to tell if it was in) and then with the easiest amount effort i could pull it right out or it would fall out on its own. This drove me insane and because of this issue i don't even bother to pose him with the blades. I've learned to live with it, but i just really wish they would of put more thought into the blades. The second issue is not really an issue with the figure but with Square Enix. I don't know why(if anyone can tell me the reason behind this it would be great)but why are the play arts kai figure so out of scale with one another. Edward towers over my other play arts kai figures, he stands at about 10.5 inches, which is huge, while the others stand at 9 inches and it just looks really weird when i have them all posed together. And heres the thing that irritates me, Why?. Why is Edward so big? Why change the scale? Now they look weird posed together, Edward towers over superman..The last is not really issues but just me being picky. I wish the colors of his cloths(though they are the right colors)were a bit brighter and more vibrant like how it is in the game. The paint is on the darker side so its kinda hides the colors and everything kind of blends in if your looking at it from a distance, though not a big deal. It's still an amazing figure though and i got it for a good price here on amazon so that really helps in overlooking these small issues. If you can find him for a good price buy him, I freaking love this figure even with the weird blades,but i would not pay a crazy amount of money for him.

I got this as the crowning peice of my assassins creed figures.The figure is amazingly posable and comes with 4 guns, 2 swords and the option to have the blades retracted or out. Swapping the parts over is easy quick.The likeness is amazing and not one smudge or miss paint on the whole model which is rare on most models these days. Overall a great show piece. I was also impressed at its durability as I have other play arts figures that unfortunately broke as I tried to pose them. But this one is alot sturdier than the others.If you have the cash to splash as they are no small some I'd recommend getting it.

Play arts did it again! Never disappoints about their work. The detail is amazing and love all the parts that goes into it. I can make different posses and add different faces to it and everything. Truly an amazing figure. I really loved black flag and love anything with pirates. I really reccomend buying this if you're a fan!

I bought the item for my grandson and he just loved it. His words were "This is awesome" Now he says he is interested in different items from this character such as t-shirts, a jacket or something like that. But I need to wait for him to decide what items he is interested in. He plans to visit me in the summer and I want to have something already here waiting for him. But I do need to wait till he decides what he wants. I do plan to order, but not just yet.
