Polycell Crack-Free Ceilings Smooth Matt, White, 2.5L

Absolutely fantastic. It actually works. Hides all fine cracks with one coat. I'm seriously impressed and would recommend.

Brilliant product with great coverage. Quality opacity and bright. Quick drying. Value for money considering how good this product is.

I was pleasantly surprised by the finish this gives. We have a very uneven plaster ceiling so I prepared by sanding and cleaning and then applied 2 coats of this. When wet I was underwhelmed by the look but once dry I was impressed and the coverage is really good. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

This paint is absolutely fantastic and I’ve tried a few on my ceilings. Used a 4 inch roller straight from the tin. Covered water damage from roof in one go but did give a little brush over to seal. No drips, no mess. Brilliant

Well being a brand name paint and the price you pay I was expecting it to be a little better than it was, It really isn't any good to cover cracks in ceilings, for a start its way to thin to do that, even after 3 or 4 coats the cracks were still very visible, I've used these kinds of paints in the past with much better results so I know I wasn't expecting too much from it, overall if you just want to freshen up your ceiling then this paint is ok, if its to cover cracks then don't bother

Polycell Crack-Free Ceilings was applied to the ceiling, I was a little bit sceptical as it was not as thick as I expected. At least three coats were needed to completely hide the crack. The product worked better on the walls where only two coats were required to hide a crack above a door. Polycell Crack-Free Ceilings is supposed to be a Matt white I found it to be have more of a silky mid-sheen finish, which helped to see where the crack was on coats three and four. It did not show when a final matt white top coat was applied. It was easy to apply with either brush or roller and a tin seems to go a long way. Depending on the ceiling applying a filler and sanding down and then painting gave the best results.

This paint is really good at covering small cracks, you do need to add a few coats before the crack can no longer be seen. Although the paint is really thick and doesn't drip much you still need to pop a dust sheet down to protect flooring or furniture. I've managed to cover a very small crack after applying four coats, but when applying to a wider crack I've applied four coats and it's still visible, don't expect miracles as this is paint and not filler or plaster.

It covered the most stubborn cracks.
