I got 2 of these mats to go around my new kitchen island. They really make a difference when doing kitchen prep, cooking , and cleanup, even for a short time. We're even thinking about getting more to completely encircle the island! My only suggestion is that they make them in black.

I have gone to a 'standing desk' arrangement after a slipped disc and did some research how to set up. All advised an anti fatigue mat to help relieve strain on the back. You can get some very fancy ones and some very expensive ones, this one works a treat. Am about to buy a second one so that I can use it in a different area. It means I can stand for a couple of hours continuously and not feel the strain. Highly recommended item, blends in well on wooden floors too.
