I've always loved mechanical pencils but I am not a gentle, delicate writer. So needless to say, I'm using a 0.7 lead, I am constantly breaking the leads, which is rather wasteful. BUT, I no longer have that problem! The only con is that the graphite isn't as dark as I would prefer. A small price to pay I suppose.I even purchased the colored pencils as well as extra leads, both the graphite and colored leads... Can't wait to have a bit of quiet time to work with the color pencils!

You can literally write with this pencil and the tip doesn’t become dull. It does come with extra tips, a case for all 4. Perfect for note taking because you don’t have to click to extend or stop to sharpen. They are thicker than hold than normal pencils though and I can see it getting uncomfortable after a lot of writing. The only bad thing (depending on your preference) it writes light. Even when you push down hard

I bought these pencils for my classroom so that I would not have to sharpen pencils when working with the students. That works great. I do quite a bit of artwork and draw. These pencils are good for basic sketching and everyday writing. The only drawback is that they are very light. Similar to like an 6 or 8H pencil. I rarely use the provided eraser also. It's a hassle getting it out of the inside of the pencil. I just use a square eraser instead. But, these are handy and great gifts for educators and artists.

Bought two sets - one for me to ck out and one for an elderly writer at an assisted living facility. Took me a few minutes to figure it out but basically easy. As others have stated, the eraser is a bit weird and decidedly inconvenient. The graphite could be darker to enable the printing to stand out more on the page.Also - no case came with either box. Not a big deal but if you're going to put it in the listing, include it in what you send.Overall? Pretty cool concept. Some refining touches would be nice.

Exceeded my expectations and works wonderfully and has built in erasers, it fits my hand perfectly and I love them very very much the colors are clean and they make the appearance very pleasing, and don’t believe the other comments, the tips are sturdy and the durability is amazing

I love to draw and was excited to purchase this pencil. Save your money because the quality is not good and the performance is poor. The tip is not sturdy. Doesn’t write well.

Neat pencil but writes very light and not easy to get to the eraser.
