Good quality reptile bedding
We use this bedding for our 2 young Horsefield tortoises in a heated vivarium.

Perfect for my tortoise
My tortoise loves this stuff. Perfect for his enclosure. This is the only brand I buy and get value for money in comparison to local pet store. Odor isn't too strong and it lasts quite a while with regular sanitary checks (poop scooping). Very absorbent too

The little tortoise seems happy with this and it lasts a long time BUT the smell of it is pretty awful and doesn’t disappear even after a couple of weeks so I’m not sure I’ll be buying more

Luxury bedding, according to someone who eats dandelions off the floor
I brought this for my tortoise Lord Crumpet who has the lifestyle expectations of a retired billionaire and the speed of continental drift. Before this bedding arrived he slept on his old substrate with the quiet resentment of a man wronged by society. Now? He has become unbearable. He walks onto it slowly turns in three full circles like he is aligning himself with ancient cosmic forces and then lowers himself down with the ceremony of a king being buried with treasure. Sometimes he just stands there. Not sleeping. Just..standing. Feeling it. Yesterday I caught him digging dramatically and then sitting in the hole he made staring at me like, “Yes. I did this. This is my architecture.” He has never paid rent. He contributes nothing to the household. And yet this bedding has given him confidence. He is softer. Happier. More powerful. I, meanwhile sleep on a mattress from 2007. Would absolutely buy again. Although I suspect he now believes he deserves silk sheets and a personal butler.
