Excellent protective camera/camcorder case !
As an ex-professional photographer I have had many cameras bags, aluminium (VERY protective but way too heavy before you put anything in them), canvas bags (lightweight but not so protective) to standard bags like this one. I have had a good few Sony bags before, but not of this size, I usually bought just the protective case just for the camera/camcorder,for example I recently bought the Sony DSC-HX99 camera along with the Sony fitted case for it, and their cases have always impressed me both for fir and quality. Also I recently bought the Sony FDR-AX700 4K videocam and needed a case for it, so I chose this, and yes it JUST goes in, having said that this videocam is a beast in both size and functions. To be honest I thought I would save a few pounds in buying this because the Sony recommended one is more than twice the price of this... but because this one such a tight fit i ordered the recommended one anyway. OK, so my mistake aside what do I reckon to this bag compared with other bags I have had ? Well firstly it is of medium weight but really well made, and very secure with the zip fastenings etc. It is well padded and will provide good protection against knocks etc If my videocam had been slightly shorter it would have been ideal, as it is I will still use it to store all my videocam accessories so it hasn't been a waste of money ! Overall it provides good protection at a good price, so if you have one of the smaller Sony videocams or a Sony camera it will definitely be worth the money. It ticks all the boxes for me, and the only downside is I thought I knew better than Sony and choose this over the recommended one, which I still ended up buying anyway !

High quality compact case
I bought this case to accompany my Sony HX400V bridge camera. It is well made and has 2 decent side pockets to fit batteries, memory cards and filters in etc. The handle and shoulder strap are well crafted and easy to carry this round all day. The camera fits snuggly into the case and there id a bit of room to the side to fit other accessories (I put the Sony GZ1 microphone or filter case here). The front pocket can fit some slim/small goodies in too-I just about fit a wired remote shutter release in here. Overall, very good value, well made and handy to carry all your gear for the day in this one case.

Protects your camera
I've had the words warmth and comfort suggested by Amazon to add to this review I think their computis on the blink as I'm reveiwng a camera case. It's a nice bag the straps an ok length I had read it was short. Maybe they've listened and changed the strap It's a nice bag for a small video camera and you can just about fit a mic I'm with the camera.in the main section. I gutted two batteries in one pocket a tripod plate and cards in the other side pocket and my cables in the front pocket plus tissues and a pen. It's all very snuggly packed without leaving a slither if space. If your looking for roomy it's not but it depends on what you want to carry I'm happy enough as I can keep my kit together in it and could probably access the camera while wearing the bag. It wouldn't hold any extras that you might need but it's good enough Not sure I like the word Sony written in big as it says to would be thrives this woman's got probably a nice camera in this bag. I'd rather not be a walking advert for Sony if it puts me in any risk I don't mind Sainsbury's having their name in a bag as no their would care but a camera bag is another matter. I'll wear the bag back to front so the name can't be seen but would rather not have to worry about anything like that The bag looks robust and would easily hold out a shower. It's put together so that dust remains out of the bag. I like the bag so.ill keep it and see how it works out in use

I'm very pleased with this bag
I'm very pleased with this bag. I have a Sony NEX-5 with three lenses - the standard 18-55mm zoom, a 16mm wide angle and a 55-210mm zoom. The bag holds them all neatly and safely, with room to spare for the miniature flash gun, a couple of spare batteries, body and rear lens caps and several different filters. There's still room to spare, although I wouldn't want to add too much more kit because it would make things less easy to use. The bag is nicely made with reasonable padding and a weather-proof lid. It has a hand-carrying handle, and a shoulder strap. All this whilst remaining reasonably compact. Reasonable price too: recommended.

Ticks all the boxes
I had a more canvas-style bag before this and was feeling that I needed better protection for expensive camera gear. I find buying camera bags to be a unique chore as it's so tricky to get the right size, practicality, and look, despite all the options out there. My camera gear happens to be Sony so I guess I gravitated towards them somewhat. The bag has worked out very well for me - it offers good protection for a mirrorless camera and lens - even quite a big lens like the 135mm GM. I felt the padding was very good all round, and there was enough room to supplement that with additional padding to make things extra snug. The front pocket allowed a small Manfrotto Pixi tripod and the side bags are good for smaller items. I like the quick access - you can zip the main compartment closed for best protection, but if you're taking it in and out the buckle is also good. I can't imagine any rain getting in this baby. Drawbacks, I think just two - firstly, it's got 'Sony' written on it in grey letters. Not hugely noticeable but there, and this could increase risk of theft. Secondly, I found the padding on the strap to be quite thin and therefore over time the strap would be uncomfortable on my shoulder. Ultimately I fixed this with a Tenba strap cushion for £15 which made a big difference. Still, there's no faulting the value for money with this bag - it is smart, just the right size, with great functionality.

Suitable for a Sony AX-100E ?
I've bought this case for a Sony AX-100E video camera so my comments regard it's suitability for that particular camcorder. The case is well made. The AX-100E will just fit into the case provided the lens hood is removed. The two end pockets will hold spare SD cards and spare battery and the front pocket will just take the battery charger without mains lead. The pockets however zip in such a way that if not fully closed items could easily slip out. Also there is no zipped net pocket internally which I would have liked as a safer place to keep memory cards. At the price it is very good value but I'll keep looking for something better ********* Since writing the above review I have bought a Sandstrom SWDSLR13 which is a nice size for the AX-100E with the lens hood attached and has excellent pockets for batteries etc.Cost just under £20.

Perfect!
I purchased the Sony LCS-U21B soft case to store and carry my AX33 camcorder, which it does perfectly. It fits well and has plenty of extra room for cables, accessories, memory cards and spare batteries. The case is very well made with excellent padding and the durable outer material is definitely weather resistant. It has a comfortable shoulder strap and carry handle. The double zip on the main compartment will take a small padlock if you want to add a bit of extra security. An excellent quality, well padded carry case with plenty of space.
