Bought this specifically for my upcoming wedding and honeymoon after watching some reviews online. I was initially concerned as it doesn't list the Hero 9 as compatible but it fits no problem. Given the build quality which is awesome it's still fairly light. I plan on using it for snorkeling too and the extra length over the gopro 3 way will be a massive bonus in getting close to the action. All in all I'm very pleased with this selfie stick and can imagine it will be used a lot and last a long time.

The Sandmarc pole is a great pole for GoPro use which is very sturdy and well built to last. It has a great extension to get more in the frame with nice locking systems, the GoPro attachment is metal so won't break easily and can be screwed off so the pole can be used with anything that can connect to a 1/4 inch tripod screw. The handgrip is made of rubber so it won't slip easily even when wet and is big enough to fit most hands.Overall I think Sandmarc have made a great pole and have done a fantastic job of producing a well-built​ piece of equipment for a fairly cheap price!

I like the pole a lot, but ultimately I had to replace it for a different model. The locks are tight and hold the gopro in place with no rotation and the handle is comfortable. My model had a manufacturing fault which meant the wrist strap couldn't be tightened, which I assume to be an unlucky one-off for me. I returned the item with ease and received a prompt refund. I would have purchased it again but there happened to be a better pole (based off reviews) that was on offer. I would highly recommend this pole to anyone, just check the strap lock.

I don't write reviews often but I felt that I just had to write one for this fantastic product from a company with the best customer service I've ever experienced. This pole has a really nice and sturdy build and extending it very easy. After a couple of uses the black clip that tightens the strap broke, so I contacted Sandmarc along with a photo and they sent me out a brand new pole. Really impressed with the customer service. And this customer service pays off as I;m constantly advocating this product because of it. I'm registered to an online GoPro forum and they same question keeps arising..."Which pole to get?"...I always recommend this one.

Bought this as a replacement for a stick that came as part of an accessory pack. Unlike that one, this is solid. You can tell that the build quality is there as soon as you pick it up. It's quite weighty but that's a good thing. Attached a GoPro Hero 4 Silver to it and the screws were fine. It locked into position nicely, didn't move with the weight of the camera. Handle has a good grip and a wrist attachment just in case...! Happy I bought this rather than risk the other version that I had. Pretty sure the footage wouldn't have been as good.

Very well engineered but very heavy! Wouldn't want to use for any period of time. Couldn't tighten the go pro connector sufficiently tight enough to stop the camera moving when subjected to even a tiny jolt. Returned the product, which I must say was very easy... well done Amazon for your returns service.

This item arrived on time and fits my Go Pro perfectly. I used on holiday for underwater videos and being able to adjust the length of the pole was brilliant for far away pictures and selfie shots.The pole is sturdy and is value for money.

I like the handle, the pole, the assembly, the adjusters...but the camera mount end leaves a lot to be desired.Although the different camera housings fit the stick mount, it needs a lot of torque to tighten it to keep the camera tight and in position.The screw cap nut was received separate and not part of the mount system, which I thought was cheesy for the price of the stick.The camera mount end of the stick is not removable from the end to interchange.
