Perfect for keeping potatoes fresh. Also looks good and the potatoes are out of sight. It is a great product with useful handles and appears to be sturdy enough.

This is a lot bigger than I was expecting, and holds a decent amount of potatoes. I have bought the set of these - garlic, potato and onion storage containers. I love them - they look really good in my shabby chic kitchen. The vent holes at the bottom mean that the content keeps fresh!

Generally this is good value for money. The one I received had dried welding material spilling down quite a way from one of the handles, and a mark elsewhere, but for the price I was willing to overlook the flaws. I find potatoes sprout much more quickly in this than when I used to keep them in a closed cardboard box. The answer that works for me is to line it with kitchen roll that covers the holes; it seems to delay sprouting by, presumably, limiting light, though not completely blocking air - and it looks so much better in the kitchen than a cardboard box does! I’d recommend it, but don’t expect too much.

Looks good but did not keep potato any fresher, or slow down sprouting . Disappointing.

This is perfect for what I wanted. I've wasted far too many spuds because I haven't had anywhere to store them properly (in the dark) so they've gone green and/or sprouted. Mine is a one-person household and this metal crock is just the right size for me. I'd suggest that maybe it would be too small for a family to store sufficient potatoes even for two or three meals but for me, it's exactly what I hoped for - and was delivered in under 24 hours.

Fabulous! Now the potatoes do not turn green before they can be eaten! Looks so lovely - works so well!
