It is intended for vegetarians and vegans so no meat products involved. Can’t think of any reason that it would not be halal.

Can it be used to make meringue?

I think so. Anything you would normally put an egg in. I used it to try to make vegan Yorkshire puddings. They were OK but not as good as the real thing :-)

can it be used for omeletes

I've not tried but I'm sure ucan just add some extra olive oil to bind it together
