Zoom G1XON Amplifier Effects (Bass Multi-Effects)

This is a typical Zoom pedal. A ton of excellent effects, easy on-pedal interface, decent drum machine and even a 30-second looper. Also, in typical Zoom fashion, some [actually most] of the presets are very over the top. With a bit of fiddling, a slightly more subtle hand will give you some great sounds. As someone else mentioned the particle reverb is indeed awesome. The chorus, flanger, phaser, and pretty much all the modulations are great. Overdrives and distortions are a bit light in the mid-range, but they're easily tweakable. Looper functions are great [if a little short at 30 seconds], Zoom always seem to make this easy. Can't comment on battery longevity as I power this via USB, or USB mains adapter when away from PC. Downsides: The octave tracking isn't super fast, and isn't very accurate below Drop D either. The tempo setting is global and not per patch. The Zoom software for patch management is really, really bad [won't even start on my PC], but there's a few free third-party programs out there that let you edit on the fly. Update the firmware when available, the processing power required by some effects has been lowered recently, letting you use more simultaneously. Overall: Well worth what I paid, this replaced a Zoom 707II that still gets regular use, so I'd expect this to last just as long.

Great little unit! Sturdily built with great sounding effects. Only negative point for me is that the rhythm/looper button requires a finger press rather than foot activation, which would be much more beneficial in a live situation. That being said, sticking a small foam pad on the button seems to sort that problem right out!

I purchased the Zoom G1Xon as a cheap way to get a few effects that were very expensive to buy as standalone units (whammy, ring modulator, chorus) however when it arrived and I plugged it in I found that it does so much more. The amp models are very good indeed, it covers all the bases from Fender, and Marshall through to Orange and Mesa. The overdrives/distortions are good also. The modulation effects are fun to play with, there are a few different delays, choruses, flangers etc. Reverbs, EQ, and Noise Gate are also included (Noise Gate is essential on patches with heavy distortion/overdrive). I haven't even used the looper and rhythm function as I have no need for them. Overall a great buy, you can get creative with it and make lots of your own patches, or if you prefer you can tweak the ones that come factory loaded. very, very good pedal. the Drums and looper are very worth while too! Stock sounds are great, bit of playing around and you`ll soon be making your own, some patches (instructions rather than things you download) are available online - found one that mimicked the guitar sound from Meat Is Murder by the Smiths thats worth £50 on its own!! Possibly the best "cheap" multi-effecs on the market to be honest, genuinely raises the bar. Foot pedal is usefull too, shame it looks a bit "toy like" - although you`ll be over that once you start using it!

Some usable tones in amongst a lot of rubbish ones, but worth it for the looper and drum machine alone. Shame you can't independently control the volume of the guitar, looper and drum machine - the drums are LOUD!

To start with this is the guitar version g1xon the bass version is the b1xon and has orange buttons. The x is for the expression peddle. Love mine. It came super fast. Works great. Quite easy to program and is capable of some awesome sounds. £49 for an amp simulator a ton of effects a looper and a drum machine.. Stupidly good value for money.

Haven't actually tried it yes as it is a Christmas present from my wife,. One thing, considering the manufacturers were dispatching to and English address. The one thing they omitted was instructions in English. Every other language but none in English. Not a great start

Besoin rapidement d'un matériel simple et pas cher. Ce pédalier possède plus de sons qu'il n'en faut. Les manip et modif sont simples grâce au mode d'emploi simple à lire. le looper est suffisant pour que je puisse poser des solos sur les chansons. Je m'en sers pour des concerts et c'est presque parfait car le seul bémol est qu'il faut, pour utiliser le looper, l'actionner via un petit bouton que l'on ne peut faire qu'à la main....donc il faut penser à l'actionner avant de commencer la chansons, sinon c'est trop tard. Pour 50€, il est trop top.

Horas y horas de diversión (si eres bueno también de buena música). Muchas opciones y sonido razonablemente bueno. Creo que por el precio es una alternativa buena, bonita y barata para culaquier aficionado. Totalmente recomendada su compra.

Si ovvia minimamente creando più patch con i parametri già impostati [Accettabile per multi-effetto] - Per gli amanti degli stomp scordatevi di poter bypassare gli effetti a piacimento mentre suonate. Al massimo è possibile bypassare un solo effetto ma questo vi escluderà la possibilità di cambiare patch. Si ovvia creando patch con gli effetti già bypassati o senza effetti [Accettabile] - Pedale d'espressione lavora molto sulla punta, rendendolo un po' impreciso, soprattutto su piccole escursioni del parametro. Comunque si può regolare la durezza per ovviare minimamente al problema, il resto viene con un po' di esperienza [Accettabile] - Nota tecnica, Dsp: fa sampling a 44.1KHz per incidere un CD o suonare live può andare, sicuro non per suonare su radio o concerti... Con la tecnologia moderna e un euro in più si poteva arrivare a qualcosa di meglio... Non incide minimamente sul valore complessivo del prodotto (ma chi lo userebbe a certi livelli?) [Trascurabile] Altro: - Prodotto da Zoom, casa giapponese - Ultimo aggiornamento firmware: 1.21 - Firmware solitamente già aggiornato alla vendita (in caso è facilmente aggiornabile scaricando il software dal sito della casa e collegando il pedale al computer) - Alimentazione esclusa - Pacco batterie incluso - Possibilità di fare reset alle impostazioni (e patch) di factory - Presenza di assistenza tecnica (non testata a motivo di nessuna necessità) - Garanzia non fornita dalla casa (fornita dal venditore) - Collegabile con qualsiasi strumento elettrico/elettronico, con opportuni adattatori da pochi centesimi (provato con chitarra elettrica/acustica, basso, violino elettrico, tastiera, organo, synth, output del computer, ricevitore bluetooth, ricevitore wireless). Gli effetti sono comunque stati ideati per chitarra e su altri strumenti potrebbero non rendere come desiderato

Unfassbar viele vorgegebene Effekte und Möglichkeiten diese nochmal zu bearbeiten. Wenn einem die nicht gefallen kann man ebenso seine eigenen Effekte kreieren. Habe dieses Multi-Effekt Gerät meinem Sohn geschenkt. Er ist begeistert. Leider kommt dieses Gerät ohne Bedienungsanleitung, aber mit etwas googeln, kann man eine gute englische Anleitung finden. Ansonsten uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Acquistata da oltre un mese dico che è perfetta. La uso principalmente per esercitarmi in casa o presso la mia scuola di musica e non ha mai dato un solo problema. L'audio è perfetto, purchè si utilizzino cavi di buona qualità. Non è incluso l'alimentatore ma è possibile trovarne uno a pochi euro o al massimo, come ho notato, funziona anche se alimentata da una caricabatterie di smartphone collegato all'ingresso usb. Dispone di numerose funzioni, ci sono tantissimi effetti e amplificatori tra cui scegliere, tutti molto personalizzabili. Ogni patch è possibile salvarla, spostarla e rinominarla a proprio piacimento. Tutto è molto personalizzabile. Ci sono anche numerosi pattern di batteria, perfetti per suonare i più disparati generi musicali. Io la uso principalmente per suonare Heavy Metal e non trovo un solo difetto. In rapporto al prezzo è di ottima qualità, io l'ho pagata 58 euro, credo che li valga tutti.
