I got this UGREEN 90-degree USB-C to 3.5mm adapter because my new phone lost the headphone jack and I still prefer wired earbuds and headphones for clearer sound and longer listening without worrying about battery. The right-angle design and built-in DAC looked practical for everyday use. The aluminum shell feels solid and the 90-degree bend keeps the cable from sticking straight out, which helps when I’m holding the phone, gaming, or watching something. It doesn’t dig into my hand or get in the way as much as straight adapters do. Sound through the 24-bit/96kHz DAC is cleaner and more detailed than the basic cheap dongles I’ve tried—music and podcasts come through with better separation and less muddiness. Calls work fine with most of my headsets that have a mic. It’s small enough to leave plugged in or toss in a pocket. Compatibility has been good with my recent USB-C phone and a couple of tablets. For the price it delivers solid everyday performance if you just need a reliable way to use wired audio again. There are a few drawbacks. You can’t charge while using it, so battery drain is something to watch on long sessions. A few people mention the lowest volume setting is still pretty loud, and some report occasional static or the connection getting looser after months of use. Mic support isn’t perfect with every headset, and thicker phone cases can make the fit tighter. It’s audio-only, so no video or data. I expected a sturdy little adapter with better sound than the free ones and a design that wouldn’t stick out awkwardly. It mostly met those expectations for daily music, calls, and commuting. Not the most feature-packed dongle, but it does the practical job of restoring a headphone jack without much fuss.

I bought this to use with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL with a quadlock case. I was pretty sure it would work, but now that it has arrived I can say 100% that it works great with my setup. It fits perfectly with my phone and case and works immediately without have to change any settings. I can't vouch for longevity yet, only time will tell on that. I can say the sound was clean, no buzzing or any other strange noises were introduced to the music I was listening to.

Adapter works as expected. Allows me to use my plug-in earbuds. Good audio - no issues.

Pretty good, works as intended but the usb-c connector could connect slightly better to the phone, other then that the sound quality is fine, no static or buzzing and volume is good with 16 ohm IEM's.

This adapter is a must-have for an Apple Studio Display. I just replaced a similar adapter due to its subpar quality. This UGREEN version is a total winner! It fits nicely as an easy-to reach plug on the spare USB-C ports on the back of a monitor. The sound quality is superb. I bought it primarily to use with digital instrument playback in music notation software. However, I compared audio playback through both the adapter, and my MacBook pro headphone jack using the same headphones. It's identical. Furthermore, to the point of using this to add an audio port to something like a Studio Display: The adapter will not "engage" as an audio port unless you plug headphones or an audio jack into it. Meaning: when you plug in or unplug headphones, the macOS audio system switches audio ports the way it does when you plug in headphones! Amazing! It is very snug, and quick to plug in headphones by feel. And you can just leave the adapter plugged in! Also, it supports TRSS. So if your headphones have a volume control, that works too. I think this is a must-have for anyone looking to add a convenient headphone jack to their desktop setup. I am so thrilled!

Bought on June 9th and of course stopped working a week after I could return it… it worked fine for the month it lasted, but that’s not saying much.

Look, if you have to deal with these stupid little things, I suppose this one is the way to go. I've tried several on Amazon, and this one works consistently well, offers good sound quality and is cheap to boot. I've purchased, like, 10 of them.

Worked great while it lasted. No reg flags with audio quality. Used it exclusively while running, so there could be some light moisture exposure. At the 19-month mark it's now only sending audio to the R channel. I've tried cleaning out the headphone jack, I've tried Deoxit. It did last longer than other cheap USB-C headphone adapters I've had.

Excelente para no traer tanto cable, si tiene como fecha de caducidad porque von este van 3 qué compro porque de repente ya no funciona. Pero si lo recomiendo.

Great tool if you have a modern phone but prefer to use wired headphones. Very small easy to lose be careful when removing from phone.
