norbar trutorque tt300 1/2 inch drive
to replace rear wheel bearings i found i needed to torque up axle nuts to 208 ft lbs- my trusty norbar torque wrench only went up to 100 ft lbs so i looked for a new one to do the job i saw several offerings on the net but then i spotted a name i was familiar with - never having had any problems with my old norbar which i bought 30 years ago i decided to order the one on amazon.the price was good and it arrived within 3 days of ordering .it did the job easily and the only problem i found was how to open the sliding plastic case that it arrived in .it could do with a sticker on the outside to tell you how to open it otherwise 100% satisfied nice to find a british company still thriving.

great wrench but just one small negative
Great wrench with a good range of torque settings + nice and solid. Just one small comment...seems to work as a torque wrench one way up and a normal wrench the other way up...this is a great feature...unless you accidentally use it the wrong way round...sheer off the nut from your top mount at the end of your suspension rebuild and then have to take your suspension apart and buy a new top mount! Yes I feel like a spanner but thought I'd mention it in case anyone else makes a similiar error (easily done at the end of the evening when you are torqueing everything down)...still worth the 4 stars though. Another comment would be the box...at this price range I'd expect something descent so I'm knocking a star off for the flimsy packaging.
