I run a jl audio w7v3 with a mono block amp and whenever I would hit hard bass my lights would dim and my car would ding followed my my cluster saying low voltage. After installing this capacitor not only does my battery keep up but no more dimming of lights or cluster lights and the the bass hits way harder since my amp doesn't clip out!!!Used this in my bmw 535i E60

Absolutely a must at this deal. Caps have a bad rap for being a vestigial (to battery) component and the forums are all about the 'big three' wire upgrades etc.... which gets costly and time consuming and the stock wires should be sufficient at these short distances. I know the cap only holds a fraction of the battery's Joule output but it made the difference and provides a regulated voltage supporting the amps circuitry.Scenario: Installed a demanding system on a car battery (500rms sub amp) causing the familiar light dimming on heavy notes and lack of over head power. So onto Amazon and found this which matched the aesthetics of the system, had good reviews and seemed to the perfect match.Installed: Night and Day difference, dimming disappeared, sound output had noticeable authority and cleaner/punchier. The instructions were clear, resistor provided for initial charging and all mounting hardware/screws included.Conclusion: No hesitation on purchasing for another install and would be a much smaller grin when turning up without it.Note: I used the Stinger SPD511 wire distributer on the power wire to keep it clean and proper, worked well but half the price of this cap.
