excellent choice even for beginners/amateurs
I dare say I wasn't sure I would find the book easy to understand but the information is clear, easy to follow.There are instructions for every case of animation ( walking, flying, dropping balls,weight lifting, dancing etc) .There is more practical advice than endless theory .You need to have some basic drawing skills so that you can practise what you study.For me, one of the best choices you can make as a beginner.

This book is excellent, and that must be why it has been around so long. It is straightforward and practical, giving clear illustrations of all types of movement, including walk cycles. Is there any animator who doesn't have a copy? Worth every penny....
