Good paste for lapping valves, the suction caps were out rapidly if it's get in contact with the grinding paste ( very hard not to).

Good product

This is the perfect kit for lapping in valves. It contains far more coarse and fine grinding paste than you will ever need unless you work on cylinder heads professionally. Some reviews have mentioned that there is less fine paste than coarse but this will not matter as you get enough for hundreds of valves and the average home mechanic will never need the quantity provided. The tool itself is a simple wooden stick with two soft rubber suction pads of different sizes at each end, so there is nothing to go wrong. Over time - say 10 years) the rubber will harden and the tool will lose its effectiveness. You CAN obtain new rubber pads - but the cost of a complete new kit is low enough to make this unnecessary.

Great value and easy to use. Heavy paste to remove pitting (1 min grinding) then fine paste to polish up ( another minute). Superb.

I imagine this will work well with a completely flat valve head, however my Honda valves have a slot in them meaning the sucker kept losing suction. Eventually I made my own tool with a piece of dowel and a 1p piece glued into the end of it. This fits into the slot and doesn’t lose grip. The paste itself worked fine, and I will keep the tool for the next engine I work on which hopefully will have flat valve heads.

Bon rapport qualité-prix. les pots de pâtes à roder ne sont pleins qu'à moitié ,mais cela est suffisant pour faire plusieurs dizaines de soupapes. Les caoutchouc du rodoir ont l'air de bonne qualité, adhère très bien aux soupapes.
