Vivid Arts D-Letterbox Birdhouse - Red

Love this bird box, which is constructed from long life UV stabilised resin. Very bright in colour so can be well seen in our garden. Perfect for members of the tit family who were straight there inspecting it almost as soon as I put it up (Blue Tit). Solid build & waterproof make it feel a quailty item. There is a slide door on the back to remove old contents after use. I personally put some waterproof duck tape on the door to ensure it did not slide open during use as it is easy to open.Easy to fix into position, the hole for hanging is easily seen via the front entrance so easy to guide onto the screw you have put in ready to hang the box. Am very happy with this product would highly recommend.

Lovely looking novel birdhouse. A little disappointed that the hole is so small, so not big enough for my sparrows, but may be a wren will use it. In all fairness it does say it's suitable for tits, but unfortunately these aren't resident on Shetland. It's nice to have out in the garden just for display anyway, even if it's not used. The box itself is a good size, and has the handy access door at the back for cleaning. Haven't got it out in the garden yet, as I'm waiting until the worst of winter is over, so not sure how it copes in icy temps. Hopefully it's tough enough to withstand very low temperatures, unlike some resin garden ornaments I've had in the past, as it does say it's frost-proof. It is UV stabilised resin so should have no problems in the sunshine. I would recommend this to anyone who likes novel or quaint items, but can't comment on it's durability as yet. It does look durable though as it's nice chunky resin.

I have had this item for a long time now & forgot to review. It looks as good as new so if definitely weather proof. It looks lovely in my tree and I have had blue tits nesting in it as I type this. Would definitely recommend

It was delivered very quickly and it looks very nice on the house wall.Now I just have to wait and see if there will be any lodger/lodgers.

Very sturdy item and a nice feature in the garden. Although many small birds have shown interest none have yet taken up residence, but I'm still hoping.

We had 4 boxes. This seems to be the only box the birds use ... ev3en if we change around the positions. This is the second one we bought and took down one of the others we got off RSPB.The box was in use by blue tits within days. We have two of these now 3 foot apart and both are used by blue tits to raise families. Not sure what it is about this design that makes it so successful but who cares. It works. Not the cheapest but it works so it must be worth the extra.Looks good, birds love them and they work.

The second one i have bought , really like them, stands out in the trees and birds already nesting
