UPDATE: May 2025, After talking to customer service (again) about the problem, they sent PU belts (I guess I was still using the rubber belts). Very helpful folks! Would recommend talking to them for any problem you have concerning this tumbler. So, after installing the new belt, everything is fine and we will see how much better these PU belts are.I purchased this rock tumbler last June (2024) and wish I had gone with a Lortone. The tumbler is ok except for the fact that it goes through belts like cows eat grass! In the 11 months I’ve had it (5 months not used due to cold weather) I’ve had to replace 12 belts. They just break. They don’t rub or get bound up, drum isn’t overloaded, they just break. Customer service is nice and sent 5 free belts, but it’s just a pain having to call them all the time and if you don’t catch the break immediately, it keeps running and the days counter still ticks down the days (I always write the date on the lid just for this reason, which actually doesn’t help if I don’t catch it right away as I don’t check them every single day 🫤). I do like the 3 speeds and the pause functions. It does not run very hot.I suppose this would make a good starter machine but definitely not a machine to run all summer long unless you like talking to customer service people.

*Update - The company, on their own, reached out to me in regards to the base of the tumbler not working. They obviously had read my review. They offered a new base and some extra belts. I received the new base and belts very quickly, at no charge. I really appreciate them reaching out and replacing the base. So far, the base is working, and I'm back to tumbling my rocks! The tumbler is a great tumbler as long as it's working, and their customer service is excellent, they really care. I would recommend this tumbler. Based on the tumbler itself, and the customer service, I would go from 1 star to 5 stars. If anything comes up, I will update this review again.I'm so disappointed that this rock tumbler quit working in less than a month! After the first week the belt broke and I replaced it with the belts provided. Then, less than two weeks later the replaced belt broke, and I replaced it, again. Then, less than a week after that second belt broke the rock tumbler was not working at all. The machine was trying to turn and was humming. Now the machine does not do anything.

SO fun. I collect rocks from places I visit. I’m a novice. The first collection I tumbled, I did not read the instructions about hardness, so many of my soft stones literally went away. After I actually read the instructions and got things in there that were the same hardness; amazing. I love this thing so much. I want another because I’m impatient. I don’t wanna wait 30+ days for each Batch.

Seems to be a great unit. I am on step 1 with my son and we are going to step 2 tonight! This will be our first time seeing the rocks after 5 days of spinning. We picked rocks from around our house and combined them with the rocks that came with the unit. I am excited to see what the rocks from our yard look like! So far so good!I will need to purchase more of the "cleaning" packets to spin more rocks after my first batch.

Machine has ran for two months flawlessly and two different batches of rocks. Pleased with its performance and felt it is a good value for the money spent. Kids have enjoyed the process. Company was kind enough to send some extra belts free of charge after the purchase. Would recommend.

The product is great, the company is even better! They have great customer service. Very responsive and helpful.The machine works perfectly. Lots of fun. I was worried about the amount of noise it would make but it isn't as much as you'd expect. I kept it in my bedroom at first and would turn it off at night but moved it to a spare room so I could run it all the time.Durable and clean up is easy. Would make a really cool gift for someone who has everything.

Bought the tumbler as an Easter gift, we just finished up the process of the gems! My boys are obsessed! Definitely money well spent. Also customer service has been great!

Ok, hear me out. If this was based on service, it would be 5 stars all darn day. They are great. I had to take a star(typically I would take more away but customer care was on the ball and fixed our issue fast) because the unit died. I get it, things happen. But I can’t rate all this on service because it’s a “product” review. I really did like the tumbler and was bummed when it died. Honestly, I like it so much that I ordered the pro version after my original unit died and before I got my replacement.
