I think you can leave it on all night although I don't. I turn it on about an hour before I go to bed and it's amazing . I don't have anything to compare it with but I'm pleased I bought it, hope this helps

are the wires full length of the bed or do you have to curl up to get the heat? speaking from experience 🙄
