My beautiful white cotton summer dress got rust marks from hanging near an old radiator. I tried everything and this was a last resort before I died it navy blue! On initial application I could not see any change so left it, a few hours later it had faded slightly so reapplied. I found the product dried quickly so I put the stained fabric on a clear plastic bag, soaked the stain and wrapped the plastic over the stain and put a book on it to stop it evaporating away. I reapplied 4 times over a 24 hour period and to my utter joy and disbelief the stain has completely gone…I am thrilled! It took the whole bottle but worth every penny!

I used it on old iron stains on tiles in a washroom. I used toilet tissue to keep the solution on the stains without drying out, and left it for several hours. The stains were greatly reduced, and a second treatment removed them entirely.For extensive stains you need a lot more than this small bottle. But it does work, if you're patient and arrange for it to have plenty of time to work without drying out. The stains I was dealing with were old rust stains that other cleaners didn't touch.

I have lots of rust stains on my fitted sheets. I have deduced that this rust is from my metal clothes airer. I replaced the airer, but still get the stains. However, these stains only appear on sheets, so it has to be due to the way that the sheets drape over the airer and rest on some metal part whilst damp, thereby absorbing the metal and leaving rust marks on the fabric. Anyway, this was upsetting as I had to keep replacing my cotton sheets. I read all the reviews here for this product and bought it, hopefully. The product did absolutely nothing to remove the stains from my white sheets. Even if the product were effective, I would require a much, much larger quantity than is contained in this tiny bottle. The product itself is quite irritating to the eyes and throat, so it cannot be used for long enough to tackle the streaks and swirls of rust stains on my bed linen. Useless and immensely disappointing product.

**I’m giving this product 5 stars because the product clearly works with rust but I was buying it to see if it could work for blood and it DIDN’T work.**My husband has eczema, scratches at night and our bedsheets are covered in small blood spots. I’m on a mission to try and remove the stains.I read that once blood has dried on and been washed on anything other than cold it has ‘set’ and turns essentially into a rust stain and this could work. So I tried it on some old set in blood stains on old sheets. I tried putting it on the stains, put cling film around the item to stop it drying out , and left it overnight. Longer than the 2 hours instructed. This morning the stains hadn’t budged even a little bit. As a side note the only thing to budge blood stains is hydrogen peroxide when the item *has not been washed!* then soaking it in an oxygen cleaner like napisan, rinse on cold in the machine and repeat up to 3 times for the stains to go. This works even on colours but can lighten them.Back to the drawing board to find something easier!!

Brilliant product removed rust stain but very little product in bottle

Wow! Amazing product, actually works! My sisters favourite white jumper got about 7 rust marks on it from an old radiator and we’d tried everything to get it out. Nothing worked. I ordered this based on reviews and was not disappointed. All but 1 of the rust marks came out on first application so I reapplied to the deepest and most stubborn rust mark 2 more times and it’s worked! I’ve ordered another bottle for a stand by . So impressed!!!
