Oral-B Smart 4 -4000W- Electric Toothbrush

Oral-SmartSeries 4000 3DWhite is a very good electric toothbrush. My teeth actually feel smoother on the surfaces than they do with my old electric brush or a manual brush. I like the light-up sensor that shows if you are brushing too hard - I didn't realise that I was! It is interesting to try the sensitive mode, but I prefer the surface polishing mode. It comes with two different brush heads, a 3D white and a CrossAction one. The CrossAction one seems to clean better. Even with the floss action, I prefer to still use normal dental floss, perhaps out of habit. The battery lasts well. Using it twice a day for over a week, it is still going strong. It is comfortable to hold, and fairly light in weight, as is the charger, so easy to pack for travelling. It is still a bit noisy if you are listening to radio, though! That seems to be the only thing that the manufacturers haven't managed to improve. Everything else seems better.As for the 'Bluetooth for White Teeth' as my granddaughter calls it, it is mainly novelty value, I think. I use it at night, but must confess I don't have time to use it in the mornings, and rely on the 30 second vibrations for moving on to the next quadrant, and the double vibration to signal the two minutes when brushing time is up. It would be great for children to use, though. They always love to be allowed to use a smartphone, and this is a fun app that allows parents to check if they have cleaned their teeth properly. I imagine it would be a big success if the marketing was aimed at children aged five or six years old upwards.For adults, though, I think I would prefer a cheaper price and no app, just the 30 second and two minute vibration timings.

I've been using this for a while now and it's a good toothbrush. This is my first and only electric but I'm glad with this purchase.I don't use the Bluetooth ever really, nor much of the other speeds, so maybe a basic one would have been just as good for me. Not had any problems with it - so yes good.The only thing is once the battery does fade, it is not replaceable so you throw the whole thing away. Which seems crazy and not green and a complete waste. Plus then become more expensive as one needs to buy another one.

There are 3 different settings- which are perfect and suitable for people with sensitive teeth.The brush is small and round,has a useful red light pressure sensor that indicates when you are brushing too hard, and vibrates every 30 seconds to notify you to brush another quadrant .Super functions expecially for children.I really like brush my teet this new Oral-B toothbrush.But there is something I do not likits battery life (just about 1 week when you brush twice daily) and long charging time.Overall Braun Oral B is very reliable, efficient and innovative toothbrush.Good product - does what it says.

I purchased the Oral-B smart series 4000 electric rechargeable toothbrush in the recent sale, this was despite the fact that i had purchased a cheaper model around a month ago. The reason i purchased this was because i was that impressed with my cheaper model that i expected big things for a model worth over £100 and so far i have not been let down!The Oral-B smart series 4000 toothbrush comeswell packaged secured with polysterene to prevent damage, in the box is the toothbrush handle, 2 toothbrush heads (Cross action and 3D-White), 2 pin charger, toothbrush head compartment and the instruction manual.To begin with i charged the toothbrush up fully as it comes flat, i then tested it out normally trying out the 3 different modes not really knowing what they did. After trying the toothbrush, i then downloaded the Oral-B app and synchronised my toothbrush to my Galaxy s7. The instructions provided by the app are easy to follow and it does not take long to have everything ready. The app allows you to select a journey for whichever purpose you want, i have chosen whitening. On my journey the app has suggested which floss, toothpaste and mouthwash to use and i have been following the times that it sets and using the products that it suggests and i am already noticing the difference 3 days later. A good feature i like is that if bluetooth is activated on the phone and the app is opened, as soon as you start brushing the app timer is synched and starts with the toothbrush. Finally with the app, it records the data across time so you can see how long on average you brush your teeth and also how long you have spent brushing too hard which can harm your teeth and gums.One feature which i havent mentioned yet is the pressure light on the toothbrush handle, i had no idea that i have been brushing my teeth too hard and i did not realise how gently you'e actually supposed to do it! If you press too hard when using this toothbrush, a very bright light lights up on the back of the toothbrush and you cant miss it! it's very handy and very quick to respond and allows you to adjust your brushing.All in all i am glad that i took the plunge and purchased this more expensive model as with the timer, pressure warning and product suggestions my teeth are already feeling better than they did and looking whiter too! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to purchase their first electric toothbrush or even someone thinking about upgrading their model like i did! Ill definitely be looking into purchasing more Oral-B toothbrushes in the future!
