I've often wondered why in Jesus' day, they were casting out demons right and left, but today in America we buy the labels the world puts on our diseases and viewing them as demon activities is unheard of. I guess we are too sophisticated for that. I think the church needs to wake up - not to see a demon around every corner, but to be aware that as Jesus is the author of truth and light, Satan is the author of disease. And those who are in Christ are no longer under Satan's thumb. And just as Jesus defeated Satan at the cross, we believers have the same authority over him.We don't have to put up with what he throws at us.

I have a personal copy of this and have read it ...... I purchased this for a friend out of State. Every believer and person that teaches and preaches the Bible must read this to help set the people in their congregation free!!!! There are millions of church goers sitting in cold pews that are hurting inside ..... physically, mentally, and emotionally and not one church leader is willing to step out to help because they are all afraid if they mention the "demon" word, their flock would run scared and the church coffers would go empty. I have read this book and personally attend Reverend Eleanor's deliverance sessions and have been set free of many physical, mental and emotional wounds .... not to mention being set free of tormenting spirits from the pit of hell. Hey Christians ..... 1/3 of Jesus Christ's ministry when He was here with us was casting out demons .... as was the Apostle's ministry!!!! Read your Bible!!!!

This Is A Top-Ten Book for Anyone Serious About Living the Abundant Life Jesus Promised Us. This book answered so many of the questions that mainstream Christianity failed to do so for me. I had enough of hearing ministers tell me that it was God's will for a child to die, or that I was suffering with illness because I have not consecrated myself enough unto the Lord. Oh the shame that the church tries to put on people who don't quite measure up to their expectations of blissful mediocrity. God made me to be an overcomer. He made me to be more than a conqueror. It is not arrogant of me to desire to be what He says I am. In fact, that is true humility. The church has been overrun with false humility and over-intellectualism, and hasn't savored the precious presence of the Holy Spirit. That is why they have lacked the power to advance God's Kingdom. This book blows the lid off complacent Christianity, and in turn, causes people to fall even more deeply in love with our Savior because it exposes the truth of why we have failed to walk in the victory that God has promised His people. I love this book. I am a regular at her local meetings. This is a MUST read. You learn a great deal about why you do the things you do and generational curses. She also adds some prayers to help you along your journey to breaking these curses. The prayers are powerful and help you stand in your authority in Christ. I would have never learned this in church. What an eye opener to realize what a Christian deals with on their daily walk. This book opened up a whole new way of life for me and granted me freedom in different areas of my life. Thank you Eleanor for writing such an awesome book and a much needed book.

This woman and her ministry and her book... i am grateful i live in the same state as her (Arizona). I receive the healing i need in 12 step programs. I then read God's Word daily and attend a powerful church. Then i listen to Thurman Scrivner audios from his website. Then i have Deliverance backup like Rev Eleanor's Ministry that atombombs the enemy when all else fails.God is good. And I am grateful for receiving this book at the time i did.

I have re and reread Eleanor's book and have shared with several others. It is regrettable that this important ministry in the churchhas been swept up with disturbing accounts of exorcisms and deliverance. I found this book to be solid, biblically based and muchneeded. Come Christians, let's follow Christ's lead and "set the captives free, recover sight to the blind and set at liberty thosethat are bruised" Luke 4:18

I felt that the author raised a lot of great points in her book that a lot of Christians are missing and a lot of Churches are overlooking. I think that this book is a must read for any Christian looking to go further in his/her walk with Christ and toward winning in spiritual warfare.A quick read and an excellent handbook/reference book to keep on hand.
