Adhesion could be better, had to super glue the last 25mm on to the track

Used this product for several months now, this is clear and has been an improvement to my track when lining up with my marks, great value for money, good build quality due to its thickness and ease of use

After cutting into mine after lending the saw to my friend..... i opted to buy new guards. the strip is very easy to fit and brings the product back up to the standard that i bought it. Great for replacing when doing a fine piece and accuracy is a must.

Ich habe den Splitterschutz Anfang 2025 für 15,63 € gekauft. Nachdem mir meine Festool-Säge einmal unglücklich entglitten war, wurden sowohl die Führungsschiene als auch der Splitterschutz beschädigt. Zuerst dachte ich, ich müsste eine neue Führungsschiene kaufen, was bei Festool schnell teuer wird. Bei genauerem Hinsehen stellte sich aber heraus, dass die Schiene selbst nur oberflächliche Kratzer hatte und der eigentliche Schaden am Splitterschutz lag. Positiv: - lässt sich problemlos austauschen - die Führungsschiene funktioniert danach wieder wie gewohnt - sorgt wieder für saubere, ausrissfreie Schnitte - deutlich günstiger als eine neue Führungsschiene Negativ: - Bisher keine negativen Punkte. Fazit: Ich bin froh, dass Festool den Splitterschutz als Ersatzteil anbietet. Statt eine teure neue Führungsschiene kaufen zu müssen, reichte der Austausch der Gummilippe völlig aus. Dadurch habe ich weit über 100 € gespart und die Schiene ist wieder uneingeschränkt einsatzbereit. Extra-Tipp: Nach einer Beschädigung der Führungsschiene zuerst genau prüfen, ob wirklich die Schiene selbst defekt ist. Oft ist nur der Splitterschutz beschädigt und kann günstig ersetzt werden.

E' un indispensabile ricambio per sostituire la protezione originale del binario guida Festool; può essere considerato un po' costoso (e forse lo è), ma è ben vero che mediamente va sostituito solo ogni molti anni (i miei binari, di prima generazione, risalgono a vent'anni fa, e questa è la seconda sostituzione della protezione antischeggia, che li ha resi di fatto come nuovi). Per inciso, a mio avviso si tratta del miglior sistema di guida per seghe circolari e fresatrici manuali nonché seghetti alternativi, negli anni imitato più o meno efficacementeda diversi produttori, e questa protezione ne è parte imprescindibile, dato che viene "tagliata" dopo la prima posa in modo da riportare fedelmente l'effettiva linea di taglio della sega, consentendo così l'elevatissima precisione che è un po' uno dei marchi di fabbrica del sistema Festool.
