Dog proof the pantry
I installed these on our pantry door because we needed a reliable way to keep it closed—mostly to keep the dog from nosing his way into the trash. Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable spring tension made it easy to get the door to close firmly without slamming. The brushed nickel finish looks good, and the hinges feel solid and well made. They’ve worked exactly as I hoped. The pantry door now closes on its own every time, and the dog has officially lost access to the trash. Simple solution to an annoying problem and definitely worth the purchase.

Must have for absent minded people!
These are life savers!!! I accidentally left one of my doors open and my cat’s got out. Luckily they didn’t get beyond the front yard. There’s too much that can happen to them. So I bought these and now my doors close behind me automatically! Great price and easy to install. Highly recommend.

Cabinets actually stay shut now
Swapped a few soft/loose hinges for these. Spring tension is strong enough the doors close without slamming if you set them right. Screws lined up with my existing holes. Good fix for cheap cabinets.

Perfect closing door hinge

Solved My Problem in Minutes

Good quality and enough tension
Meet the purpose of keeping bed room doors closed, which was never practical by kids before...!! Replaced only one (middle) of the regular hinge of each door with this self closing hinge , and is working just fine... Since we didn't need a strong closing. Placed the stud on the 4th hole and the tension is good enough for a soft closing.

Work well
These work very well. Pay attention and install as directed. I installed on a garage entry door and have no issues. The hinges completely close the door.

Excellent product
I used one hinge on my toilet door to keep it 90% closed as I personally don't like looking into a toilet area and my daughters constantly leave the door open after using it
