It took me a few tries to get to like this product. I was switching from the keyboard case I got with the iPad from Apple a few years ago as that one started to fray around the edges (leaving bits of the edging material behind). At first I couldn’t keep the iPad attached to the stand, which kind of floats the device (magnetized on the back but does not rest on the keypad), but after a few tries, I got used to how to not knock it off the stand. The keyboard works great, although I find that, when starting it up each instance, I have to hit the keys a few times in effort to wake it up. Once it’s awake, it’s great. I really like the keyboard illumination at night, making it so much easier to see the keys. But the best part of this—I can position the iPad at a true 90 degree angle that is best for all those Zoom meetings when the iPad is at eye level. The angle is adjustable, so if you want to use it resting on your lap, you can angle it up for easier viewing.

Strong body, good hold, keys skip some and have to go back to correct. For the most part a decent keyboard. Not like apple but more cost effective.

I really like this keyboard. It stays connected and although it’s not a “case” that covers all sides of the iPad, it still manages to keep it’s magnetic hold and you can slightly change the position of the iPad, I am writing this using the keyboard which hasn’t lost connection yet. Sometimes it hibernates when you are not using it which is good because you don’t want it to drain all of the energy. I really like this and I would recommend it for others looking for a cheap “magic” keyboard alternative. PS. I also have tried others that were cheaper than this but this is really much better and worth the extra money, much better than the thirty dollar ones.PPS: I will say, the keyboard for me had the accurate keys but after purchasing the magic keyboard, this case’s magnets are definitely weaker than the magic keyboard’s magnets. This however had caused me no issues. Also the trackpad you can only click in the center, after using the magic keyboard, this becomes noticeable when switching between the two. All in all, it is a successful case for me as I like the function keys on the top and the keys, however higher profile than apple’s, are still very nice.

Magnetic function did not work at all. Waste of time and money. I selected this for the angle and elevated view. Paid a premium versus other physical connections. Would not waste my time or money with this brand again.

I will say, the keyboard is sturdy. The iPad sits nicely on the lid, and the hinge has enough tension that I trust this unit will last. I was pumped when I unboxed this and got things set up, but I quickly realized that some keyboard keys are not in the right position. For example, the “Z” is where the “Y” should be, yet when I click on the “Z” I actually type a “Y”. And don’t even get me started on special characters…an absolute mess. I’m still trying to figure out how to type a plus sign. The key dedicated to a plus sign should allow me to type a plus sign or an asterisk. What I actually get is ] or }.

Love this keyboard and it works great with my iPad.
