This is a Taskin European digest-sized edition of Alain Silver's "Dictionary of Film Noir", originally published in the 70's. This book has the English actress from "Gun Crazy" on the cover; I happen to regard "Gun Crazy" as the best film noir, rather than others. I am glad to have this book.

The only Film Noir reference you'll ever need

I planned on buying a few different books on Film Noir on Amazon, this is the first one I received and honestly, I don't think I need to buy another, this one is comprehensive in both text and visuals. The only downgrade is that the book is slightly undersized and the type is a bit small for my old eyes, so I need a magnifier to read comfortably.

Everything you need to know about Film Noir...
