Premier Jour Eau De Parfum - 100 ml

Couldn't believe it when the sales assistant in a department store told me this was no longer available to buy in shops. I've worn no other perfume but this for years & wasn't happy at the thought of having to trawl around make up counters smelling loads of perfumes in the vain hope I'd find one I loved as much. Luckily it was Amazon to the rescue. I was totally surprised when I first tested Premier Jour to find that it was a) Nina Ricci & b) had a floral base. I've always thought that both of those factors in a perfume meant "old lady scent". I couldn't have been more wrong. This is a beautiful perfume, it's not heady or overpowering but equally, it isn't lost after a couple of hours so you don't need to keep using it & even though it's light, it can be worn during the day or in the evening. The bottle, with it's 3 offset layers (including the frosted top), is quirky & modern (something else I'd never associated with this brand). Apart from what I was told when I first smelled it, I've never looked into what fragrances/oils they've combined to make Premier Jour but whatever they are, they've used them well & it works beautifully. At least 3 of my friends agree, they all wear it now & I've lost count of the number of times people have asked me what lovely perfume I have on. Sadly, that's probably going to be the only way Nina Ricci finds new customers for this beautiful perfume if shops are no long stocking it (wonder who thought of that great marketing ploy??). If people can't check it out, then they aren't going to know how lovely it is. I was told by the sales assistant that it was still on sale in French shops.......... but that's only handy if you're going there!! For as long as Nina Ricci produces it & Amazon sells it, I'll be buying

I love this perfume. It has a different scent to it. Quite a sweet smell. The bottle is nice and unusual. Very good value for money.

This has been a favourite of mine for some years now and the only perfume I wear. It is light and fresh and suitable for all occasions. I am regularly asked by both other women and men what perfume I am wearing. I was very disappointed when it became discontinued on the high street some time ago but great to see I can still get it through Amazon and at such a good price. I will continue to buy it for as long as it is available. I also request it as a present whenever I am asked! I have sprayed samples of every other perfume out there but none have come close to replacing Premiere Jour.

I really wanted to give this one star - not because I don't love it or wouldn't be devastated if it ever went out of production... but because I like the fact that it's not sold in shops and few people know about it! I absolutely love this scent. I have worn it for years and appreciate that I don't smell like half the other women in the room. It is sexy and feminine and perfect for any occasion. So I'm torn. I can't rate it highly enough but please don't all rush and buy it... ok, well... just enough to make sure it keeps on being made ;)

I found this perfume to be a big disappointment. I really love this perfume but, when I got this new bottle home and used it for the first time, I found the smell not as fragrant and completely gone after a few minutes. So disappointing. Definitely would not recommend

Its a shame it isn't available on the high st. Its such a lovely smell.people always ask what fragrance I am wearing when I have sprayed this.I have loads of different fragrances.but this will always be a favourite because its quality and not a one minute wonder .

I have purchases this fragrance several times over the past decade and I always get compliments on the fragrance. I will continue to purchase this fragrance. The smell is light, sweet but not too sweet. It's not spicy, but it works year round. It's not too heavy for the office. It's perfect for dates b/c it's not aggressive but there is enough aroma to make a presence.

perfume smelt sour, it was off, ive bought this perfume before so definitely isnt just me.
