I hardly ever write reviews but this product deserves it, it works! I’ve tried so many other brands and the suction is just never strong enough. These bowls stay in place despite the incredible strength of my 14 month old boy! It works even better with the gripping mat that comes with it so I always use that (although even if I am out and about and forget the mat this is better than other brands). I wash mine by hand rather than put it in the dishwasher because my dishy tends to flavour plastic so I can’t say how it holds up against a dishwasher. Like other reviews and manufacturer instructions it is best to stick it down before putting food in but I often forget and it works just as well if you push your (clean) finger into the centre of the bowl through the food.I did think these bowls came with a larger price tag than I would usually like to pay for Children’s Kitchen things but actually these are worth the money and if I’d known about them before trying other cheaper products I wouldn’t have had to buy twice so it does work out well to spend the money on the first round. I can’t recommend them enough!My only suggestion to make these incredible bowls even better (to the manufacturer) is to design a lid for them so it’s easier to take them out and about.

Whilst these bowls are comparatively expensive to other brands, the fact is, they work and they work even with a strong determined 10 month old (when used in conjunction with the sticky gekko pad). The level of suction is genuinely impressive.The silicone bowls are sturdy and very good quality. The gekko pad is extremely sticky and works well on both wooden and plastic high chairs.In terms of cleaning I started by cleaning it every time my little one ate, but actually that isn’t needed, just the bowl needs cleaning.The bowls and pad come with clear instructions, a 110% money back guarantee and a direct email to the seller if there are any issues. I actually had a problem with my first gekko pad and contacted Phil by email at 7:45am in the morning. By 8am I’d had a response. By 8:30am another email informed me a new pad (plus some complimentary ones) were in the post, first class. Such customer service is simply fantastic and makes the comparative ‘expense’ worth it knowing that the seller believes in their product. The new gekko pad is totally fine.I think one thing to say is to always wash the pad in clean soapy water on its own then it won’t get contaminated with other things in the water also always leave it to air dry.As with all these things you get what you pay. I would wholly recommend this product.

I'm extremely pleased with these bowls. Our 13 month old son loves practising spooning his food into his mouth - and a terrible mess inevitably ensues but it is much better since he now can't throw the bowl as well as flick his food everywhere. The bowl's suction holds it firmly to the tray of his highchair (we have a plastic one) and so far he hasn't worked out how to get it off. It stays put for the duration of his meal - about an hour. We have received the grippy mat for extra reinforcement but so far haven't had to use it. Having read the reviews we don't put the bowls in the dishwasher as I understand to do so would damage their ability to suction. They're easy to rinse clean after meals though so this is no bother. They're easy for us to remove from his tray once he's finished. The only tricky bit is remembering to attach the bowl to the highchair tray first and then put food in, not the other way around, but you only make the mistake a couple of times! I would highly recommend these bowls. I doubt I'll need to buy again as they look very hard wearing but if for any reason we lose them then I would buy them again without hesitation.

We love our gecko bowls and have been using them for months. They have been extremely helpful with our weaning process, especially as your little one starts wanting to exert a little more independence while eating. The suction is great on our highchair table and we don't even need to use the gecko pad. Our little one has not been able to remove it in the 6 months we've been using them.I generally don't use the dishwasher however after recently washing them in the dishwasher for the first time (a few months after purchase) they seemed to absorb the smell of the dishwasher fluid. This in turn made any food we put in there, especially very neutral foods such as cereal and porridge, taste strange - like the dishwasher fluid smell. Even after multiple subsequent handwashes, they still smelt. Having looked online, this seems to be a common problem with silicon cookware in general.There don't seem to be any other similar complaints about this on here though, so perhaps I am more sensitive to the smell than others??We contacted the seller however and they were very helpful and offered a refund. We bought a new set again as we couldn't live without them and I usually wash them by hand anyway.

A friend recommended these bowls to me as she had found them really useful; these bowls really do stick (doesn't stop the baby throwing the food around but at least the bowl stays put!) I've found them a very useful addition to weaning meal times. They go in the microwave and dishwasher, and I'm now using them for weaning baby number 2 and they are in as good condition as ever.The only thing to note is that they are fairly small, so are better for weaning a baby than for an older toddler who may still be inclined to knock food over (for reference, they are the perfect size for one Weetabix).

Diese Schalen halten wirklich!!! Mein Baby hat bis jetzt jede Schale vom Tisch geschmissen, außer diese. Wirklich ganz toll 👍🏻Kleines Familienunternehmen mit Herz. Vienen tres, agarran estupendamente, si la mesa tiene dibujo, trae un círculo trasparente para poder pegarlo encima.No huelen a nada raro, son blanditos y tienen un buen tamaño. Muy recomendables.

Comodi e con ventosa molto resistente. Forse un po' piccolini ma ideali per iniziare lo svezzamento del neonato.Ottimo anche il materiale.
