Pays for itself quickly!
The downspout to my gutter was loose at the top so I thought I should just remove it and hang a rain chain instead. This little old lady is short and afraid of heights. To call around to find a handy man who's willing to take such a small job and to schedule a time that is convenient for both sounds like a lot of work. It will also cost me at least two hours of labor at no less than $50/hr. And they always have family members who get sick or better jobs to take, so my appointment gets pushed back. Eventually their van will get broken into and I will get a gofundme link...It is quicker to just buy a ladder, grow a pair of balls, and man up. So I did that. I set up the ladder correctly (making sure that it wasn't wobbly at any point), put on sturdy shoes with grippy soles, and started growing balls. I couldn't go all the way up on my first attempt. I tried again the next day, and next... Every time I climbed, I felt a bit more confident and went up one more step. No rush, I make sure that my footing is firm and that my grips are strong.Downspout came down, rain chain went up with a hook. Then I started cleaning out the gutters. Still not ready to go all the way up. So I went high enough to reach into the gutter. I could feel and grab the debris with my hand, that's good enough. The ladder paid for itself in less than a week. Thank you Jeff and everyone at Amazon who help me overcome my fears!

Sturdy, does not require a lot of storage area, easy to carry.
Really cool ladder, first telescoping one that I've had. Generally a 16 and 1/2 ft ladder is really bulky and requires a lot of storage, this one minimizes to around 4 ft and although it's slightly heavy it's easy to carry. There is a plastic hand piece in the middle to where you can carry it to your side and balances well. It does give you a workout, cleaned out my gutters and was like I went to the gym because the steps are about 2 ft apart, really works those quads. Not a huge fan of heights but the ladder was sturdy enough to negate the fear. As stated, I haven't tried other ones, but for the price and using it a few times a year, it was perfect for me.

No directions for installation of parts
I got the 27 foot ladder and it works really well gets a little heavy when you extend it about 20 feet. Just make sure the steps click into secure lock position. The only complaint I have is they don't put any directions in the box on how to put the bottom rail and end of ladder wheels and end caps for the ladder to be secured on the ground. That was stupid. Had to look at pictures on the place I ordered it to figure it out. Other than that it does the job.

Missing crucial part
Missing the bolts to attach the bottom balance bar to the ladder. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, there are no instructions to put together.Annoyingly, there’s nothing I can seem to do, but return the entire ladder for a new one.Update:The seller reached out to me and was very apologetic and kind. They offered either a full refund or to ship replacement parts from china. I actually managed to get parts from lowes for about $1.50.If it happens to anyone else you need 2x 1/4 inch x 4&1/2 inch bolts + regular and split washers + 1/4 nuts.

Great ladder
Great ladder works as intended. Not as small as I thought. Also just a little on the heavy side.

Worked for 32 days, then stopped on one leg and it is very heavy as compared to an extension ladder
So I have had this a month and two days right after the return window closed, it worked fine for the 4xs I used it but this last time one of the leg sections would not work and it will clamp down on your fingers when you least expect it. I would just buy and extension ladder which I think is actually lighter than this is but now I can’t get it to retract or extend on one side not very satisfied with what I paid for it ended up using it again and this time fell off of it injuring my foot and ankle would not buy one of these period. Seller asked for multiple pics and videos which I sent and then asked for more don’t waste your time folks or your safety

Watch out for your fingers!
Great ladder, a little heavier than I expected but still a good ladder. Watch out for your fingers when you close it!
