Fiskars Spare Blades -Straight Cutting, 2 pieces, For Fiskars paper cutting machine, Orange, 1003868

Bought these to replace my old one which I have had for some time and which were not cutting as clean as they should. The new blades cut through card like a hot knife through butter, lovely clean cut.

I love this trimmer and for the price it’s a definite winner for me. It’s a heavy piece of kit, solid and non-slip. The double carriage rail means easy and perfect cuts of paper and card, even to millimetre width, every time. I occasionally wipe the double rail with a little polish on a soft cloth to keep the run smooth. The measurements are at the top and bottom of the bed and also across the middle for shorter pieces of material. The “walls” against which the material rests at the top and bottom are high so material doesn't slip, and it has a finger guard which holds the material full width of the cut. It’s self-sharpening but the sound of the cut is smooth, not grinding. The only down side, as others have said, is the split in the bed which means the measurement markings are missing, but I just used an Ikea paper tape measure cellotaped across the split as I do not need to fold my trimmer. The pros for this trimmer far outweigh the cons and I have not regretted purchasing this and would recommend it definitely to others. Fiskars are well-known for precision and they have not failed with the ProCision in my opinion.

I've used the Fiskars paper trimmer for a few jobs now and have found it to make very precise cuts. Because it folds it's easier to store if you have limited space and the protective guide helps to hold down small paper pieces safely while cutting. The added bonus of a self-sharpening blade also makes it very economical to use. It's well built and very sturdy. It has rubber feet so doesn't move on a smooth service while cutting. The foldout section is a great support for cutting larger pieces of card and the measurements are printed across both areas and overhang past the cutter blade which is useful.

Excellent quality and would have given it 5 stars, but it folds in the middle so there are no markings between 5.5 and 6.5 inches.Us crafter's always have a back up trimmer and I use that for making A5 card blanks. A good trimmer but obviously not designed by a crafter.

No need to be constantly buying new blades for my previous friskars trimmer loved the old trimmer but not buying blades all the time.This slices through card like butter so easy to use.if you are considering this trimmer all I would say is you need a large space for it to sit ,somewhere it can permanently be put would be best as it's weighty and the second thing to keep in mind is where the trimmer folds as seen in the photo you have a little gap now that could bother you at the 6 1/2" Mark it doesn't bother me at all and hasn't been an issue for me personally The measuring marks are really clear to see and leaves you a fabulous clean cut to paper to really thick card 400gsm no bother. It also has a guard to hold your paper down you do have to make sure the blade is right to the top or right to the bottom before you can lift the guard up and down to release the paper.

I had been looking to purchase a paper cutter for a while, I looked at guillotines but due to space limitations I decided on a glide along cutter again, although I had reservations as my previous one could not cut straight to save its life. This one however is perfect every time, the blade actually runs along a small wire so you can see exactly where the cut line is going to be which is so handy.I did have issues with loading paper to begin with and thought it was a poor design, but it turns out it was user error, the blade area actually folds up so you can get your paper in easily then you close it down, line up and cut.Guides on the base are really good for making sure you are lined up also.So far I have cut a pile of 3 thick 280gsm sticker papers all at the same time and it had no issue.100% would buy again, really good cutter.

It fits my cutter perfectly so I am very happy with my purchase.

They work, but they seem to be a little wider than my original blade. (Fits pretty tight and won't slide to the end of the board) but... it does do a decent job.
