Good Brining Bags
Really nice product. I purchased a pack awhile ago, and just used one recently. Quite sturdy. I didn't TRY to puncture it (or catch a corner on something in my fridge or whatever), but I also didn't treat it too gently. And it held up just fine. I was never worried about a seam busting or the zip closure at the top pulling open. Didn't have to support the bottom when lifting it.Photos are of one of these bags holding two 7-lb. pork shoulders and maybe 15 cups of liquid.Only shortcoming I can think of: I have used a bag with gusseted corners before, so the corners splay out into triangular shapes. Really helped the bag stand upright and hold a shape even with liquid inside. I do prefer that design to these flat bags. I'll check sometime if this brand makes bags with gussets too!

Large bags
Great bags for brining large pieces of meats. Very thick and easy to close. The bags are durable enough to wash and use again.

Very nice quality and thick!
I was surprised as to how big this bag is. I knew it will be big but not this big. I’ve always struggled putting all my marinated meat in a single ziplock and this does the job with still a lot of room to spare. Very nice quality material because it’s thick and definitely leak proof. Would recommend this specially for bigger pieces of meat.

Great for Brining/Marinating (5- Stars)
These "meat bags" from Killer Hogs are large, thick, and sturdy, with zip-closures to keep liquid from leaking. Although I have some brine bags that are a little larger, these should be sufficient to hold a 20-pound turkey. For briskets, turkey breasts, and whole chickens, the size is perfect. You do have to take care that the zip closure is complete, especially because the bags don't come with a device to run along them to ensure a complete seal. As a precaution, even when dry-brining, I try to keep the opening aimed upward.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
