great way to save elastic laces
anyone who has elastic laces loves the fact they dont have to tie their shoes anymore, but hates the fact the clip which joins the elastic laces together will often separate if you pull to hard. If you are lucky enough to find the clip, re-installing takes 2 seconds, but in my case, my son lost his at school, so there was no change of finding it. thankfully, i was able to find this and didnt have to spend another $11 for laces. these work just fine, are just as easy install, and much cheaper (plus i have extra's).

Useful! Worked great.
I purchased laces too long for my sneakers, so I ordered this set. I remember thinking “25” seems like a strange number, since each pair of traditional shoes would be an even number. The package was 25, three black ones and two each of the other pieces, meaning you don’t have a matching set of four for a set of sneakers. If you order the variety pack, realize you’ll need two sets to make your shoes match.

Super glue, the missing ingredient for success
These worked very well. But there is a trick, you need to place a few drops of super glue inside on the little gripper pads, before you snap the tab closed. I've never had tabs of any kind that would stay on unless I did this. Put the drops on the cut ends or the insides of the tabs, then align the cut ends of the cord then close the tab and press it closed with a pair of pliers until you hear a snap, then hold it for 30 to 60 seconds being sure it stays closed by itself. Then set it to dry a good amount of time. When I restring my shoelaces I find that I always need to make an adjustment once I've actually worn them a few times, so today I'm snipping off an inch or two on each of them so they're not too long when I pull them shut. This package of tabs is enabling me to adjust when I need to. If you want to get the super glue off your fingers when you're finished, have a bottle of nail polish remover to do that.

Just what I needed
So I would consider myself a “level 1 sneaker head” I own 60-70 pairs of shoes and due to multiple back problems, I am no longer able to bend down very easily to tie my shoes. I needed something to make all my shoes slip ins and very easy to tighten. This was it! Works perfectly!

You'll Find Uses...
I dig these things, and find uses for them in all kinds of places. Zipper pulls, gym bags, keys - you name it. Melt the ends of thin cord and snap them shut. Boom!

Easy install
East to install. Makes working with tent zippers so much easier.

Work as indicated. Not heavy duty.
These work well and hold well. Plastic is on the thin side but should work for pull tab ends.

Poorly built but they do work with some glue.
These work for 2.5 or 3mm Paracord (275/325) for thickness. If using as zipper pulls, mind the zipper opening too though before assembling a mess of these. These come with a caveat though. They work by essentially ‘snapping’ together once Paracord ends are seated in the structure. Problem is these are not made to good tolerances and thus some housings will offer a strong ‘snap’ but many others do not. They just smush together and close. But as such, they are then not very secure and sometimes pop open. I would recommend if you get these, prepare to use some glue (such as hot melt from a glue gun) and then secure them closed. Otherwise you may find them missing one day off your bags. There is a better system that is a two piece housing (they slide in to one another). Hard to find though. Tom BIHN sells them and I did see some on Amazon.com. They are MUCH better for this process and application. Anyways I recommend these if you include gluing your cord within the housing. Otherwise these aren’t built well enough overall to be counted on to stay put once placed in a zipper on clothing or a bag.

Look elsewhere.
Cheap junk. Breaks upon use. Doesn’t instil confidence.
